STLB October Plans…
After attending the Southern California Junior College jamboree over the weekend, Signal The Light Basketball has set tentative plans for October as the regular season approaches. The number one source for news regarding California junior college basketball will begin their conference previews beginning in mid October. From 2014-2018, Signal The Light Basketball did conference previews for each conference throughout the state and after two years away it will not be any different. “Our conference previews is for our readers to get an idea on what is going on around the state,” said John Bynum. With so many teams in the whole state, Signal The Light Basketball talks with every coach in the state about players on their team. Following the conversations, the company then makes their own projections with all 13 conferences in the whole state. “We are the only news service that provides this service to junior college basketball in the whole state,” added Bynum. STLB also does a preseason top 15 for Southern California and Northern California. There will also be new features that will help recruiting which is one of the companies goals in the future. “I want to help kids first and foremost and provide a consistent service that pays attention to California junior college as a whole, not just preseason tournaments or certain tournaments in the season,” said Bynum. The news source is also available over twitter throughout the season. “We tweet out results of every game that is played and provide the top two or three leading scorers of each game,” said Bynum. Signal The Light Basketball also does weekly rankings, daily articles, players of the weeks and other junior college news throughout the season.
