San Mateo edges Merced to stay undefeated
College of San Mateo Classic – San Mateo, CA
In the final day of College of San Mateo Classic, Bobby Arenas had 15 points and Sam Manu added 14 points as College of San Mateo (6-0) won their sixth straight game to start the season and stay undefeated with a 96-94 win in overtime over Merced (2-5).
In the other game of the day, John Wade had 23 points and 10 rebounds and Seneca Willoughby added 18 points and 8 rebounds as 10th ranked Contra Costa (5-1) got back on track with a 83-71 win over Gavilan (4-5).
Home Motors Tournament – Santa Maria, CA 
In the final day of action in Santa Maria, KJ Walker scored 18 points and Aaron Liberty added 17 points and added 7 assists as Los Angeles Trade Tech (1-4) picked up a 83-71 win over Santa Barbara (3-5) on Sunday afternoon. Adam Weingard had 18 points and 6 rebounds and Billy Whitting added 13 points and 5 rebounds in the loss for the Vaqueros.
In game two, Mason Ryan had 16 points and Jaycson Bereal and Decaurey Brown each added 13 points as 8th ranked San Jose (7-1) used a big second half to push past Victor Valley 85-71. Blake Goodrow had 28 points and 6 rebounds and Joshua Ryan added 13 points in the loss for Victor Valley (1-7).
In the final game of the tournament, Grimmett Glen made five three pointers and scored 18 points and Elijah McCoy added 13 points as Fresno (3-3) opened up a 15 point first half lead and held off Allan Hancock 71-65. Matt Solomon made four three pointers and had 15 points and Shawn Kelly added 14 points and 12 rebounds in the loss for Allan Hancock (4-3).
Umpqua, OR – Siskiyous 80 Clark 52
Kody Bauman had 23 points and Bryan Tapia added 19 points as Siskiyous (3-5) finished off their Oregon trip with a 80-52 win over Clark. The Eagles come back to California after going 2-1 and picked up their second straight win after losing their previous two games.
