In a battle of two teams in the Inland Empire Conference, Mikah Blackwell had 29 points and 15 rebounds and Tyler Hudson added 19 points and 7 assists as Copper Mountain (6-8, 3-0) remained unbeaten in conference action with a 93-76 win over Palo Verde (8-8, 1-3). Daijohn Stewart had 22 points and Larry Hemingway added 14 points in the loss.
San Jacinto, CA – Mt. San Jacinto 69 (12) Cerro Coso 66
Anton Mozga made two free throws down the stretch and the sophomore had 15 points and 14 rebounds and Mekhi Hill added 15 points as Mt. San Jacinto (7-7, 2-1) picked up a 69-66 home win over 12th ranked Cerro Coso (12-4, 3-2). Adam Clybourne and Josh Miller each had 13 points in the loss for the Coyotes.
San Bruno, CA – (10) Chabot 74 Skyline 70
In Northern California, Jaiden Riveria had 20 points and Isaiah Veal added 13 points as 10th ranked Chabot (9-4, 1-0) won their conference opener and picked up their first victory in 20 days with a 74-70 win over Skyline (9-7, 1-1). DeAndre Minor had 27 points and Elijah Flowers added 16 points in the loss for the Trojans.
Culver City, CA – (6) West Los Angeles 71 Antelope Valley 61
Kalique Mitchell had 19 points and 9 rebounds and Khalifah Muhammad added 16 points as 6th ranked West Los Angeles (12-3, 3-0)novercame a 9 point 2nd half deficit and got by Antelope Valley 71-61 in conference action earlier today. Da’Jour Lewis had 16 points and 9 rebounds and Jonathan Dainels added 14 points in the loss for Antelope Valley (8-8, 1-2).
Visalia, CA – (5) Sequoias 82 Merced 72
In central California, Bryce Fitzgerald had 20 points and 10 rebounds and Ryan Johnson added 17 points and 6 rebounds as 5th ranked Sequoias (13-3, 2-0) used a big first half and held off Merced 82-72. Mike Teal made seven three pointers and had 35 points and Joshua Woods added 11 points and 7 rebounds in the loss for Merced (2-12, 0-1).
Santa Rosa, CA – (9) Santa Rosa 72 Sierra 63
In Big 8 Conference action, Shannon Ferguson had 27 points and Tyler McLean added 12 points as 9th ranked Santa Rosa (10-5, 3-0) continued to roll with a 72-63 win over Sierra (8-7, 1-2).

Angel Hammer had 23 points and 8 rebounds and Ben Condra added 21 points and 7 rebounds as Moorpark (9-8, 1-0) picked up a 72-68 victory over Allan Hancock (8-8, 0-1) on the road. Matt Solomon had 16 points and Amari Stroud added 13 points and 8 rebounds in the loss for the Bulldogs.
