In a key game in the Big 8 Conference between two ranked teams, Cameron Wall had 23 points and Pierce Rexford added 20 points as 12th ranked Folsom Lake (13-6, 7-1) won their second straight game and stayed at the top of the standings with a 67-62 home win against 11th ranked Santa Rosa (15-9, 8-4). Aaron Porcil had 19 points and Garrett Siebels added 16 points in the loss for the Bearcubs which have now dropped four of their last five games.

In a key game for the Mustangs, Vince Olmo had 19 points and 15 rebounds and Nico Levitt added 16 points as 13th ranked San Joaquin Delta (14-9, 8-3) picked up a huge road victory to stay in the hunt for a conference championship with a 82-73 win over Modesto (4-16, 1-7). Lydell King had 28 points and Jacob Staton added 18 points in the loss for the Pirates.
