Week 11 Regular Season Northern California Signal The Light Basketball Rankings

1. San Francisco (23-1): The Rams stay put at the top of our rankings after picking up two wins last week. San Francisco got a forfeit victory over Ohlone and followed that up with a road win against San Mateo pushing their win streak to 19 games. San Francisco has put together a 14-1 record against teams that have a winning record and the Rams are 13-1 against teams that are ranked within our week 11 rankings. This week the Rams will face off against Canada on Wednesday and follow that up with a road game against Skyline on Friday night.

2. West Valley (19-3): The Vikings remain at number two in the rankings following a 2-0 week. West Valley picked up wins against Cabrillo and De Anza as the Vikings have now won seven straight games. This season the Vikings have put together a 6-3 record against teams that have a winning record and are 5-3 against teams that are ranked inside of our rankings. This week, West Valley will face Gavilan on the road on Wednesday and follow that up with a home game against Monterey on Friday to end their week.

3. Las Positas (19-2): The Hawks remain at number three in the rankings following a 2-0 week. Las Positas picked up wins over Skyline twice to stay within a game of first place in the Coast North Conference. This season, the Hawks have posted a 5-2 record against teams that have a winning record and Las Positas is 2-1 against teams within our rankings. This week, the Hawks will face 15th ranked Chabot tonight at home and follow that up with a road game against Chabot on Wednesday and end their weeek at home in a key game against 9th ranked San Mateo at home on Friday in Livermore.

4. Sequoias (19-4): The leaders of the Central Valley Conference remain at number four after going 2-0 last week. Sequoias cruised past Fresno and followed that up with a road win against Merced. The Giants have won six in a row and have a 8-2 record against teams that have a winning record, the Giants are 4-2 against teams that are ranked within our week 11 rankings. This week, Sequoias will face Fresno on the road tonight, and follow that up with a home game against Reedley and end their week with a key conference showdown against 6th ranked Columbia at home on Saturday.

5. San Jose (19-4): The Jags move into the top 5 after a complete shake up above them and going 2-0 last week in Coast South Conference action. San Jose picked up wins against Gavilan and Monterey and stayed hot. The Jags which have won six of their last seven have posted a 5-3 record against winning teams and have put together a 3-2 record against teams within our rankings. This week, the Jags will take on Gavilan at home later on tonight and follow that up with a key home game against 14th ranked Cabrillo and then end the week on the road against De Anza on Friday.

6. Columbia (20-3): The Jumpers remain put at number six following a 2-1 week. Columbia picked up wins against Porterville and Reedley but had a setback against Porterville in conference action. Columbia which is 3-2 in their last five games has went 13-2 against teams with a winning record and the Claimjumpers are 7-0 against teams that are ranked within our rankings. This week, Columbia will take on Reedley on the road tonight, face West Hills Lemoore on the road on Wednesday and follow that up with a huge conference match up on the road against 4th ranked Sequoias on Saturday.

7. Contra Costa (15-4): The Comets stay put at number seven in the rankings following a 2-1 week. Contra Costa picked up wins against Yuba and Marin but had a setback against Mendocino in BVC action. This season the Comets are 7-2 against teams with winning records and the Comets are 4-1 against teams that are ranked within our rankings. This week, the Comets will face 10th ranked Los Medanos on the road tonight, follow that up with a road game against Merritt on Wednesday and end their week with a game against 8th ranked Yuba on Friday at home.

8. Yuba (13-8): The 49ers drop three spots in the rankings following an 0-2 week in BVC action. Yuba dropped games against Contra Costa and Merritt and dropped from the top of the standings. This season the 49ers are 4-7 against teams with a winning record and have put together a 2-7 record against teams ranked within our week 11 rankings. This week, Yuba will take on Mendocino on the road tonight, face Solano on Wednesday at home and end the week with a huge game against 7th ranked Contra Costa on Friday on the road.

9. San Mateo (16-6): The Bulldogs remain put at number nine in the rankings after going 1-1 last week in Coast North Conference action. San Mateo picked up a win against Chabot and followed that up with a loss against San Francisco. This season the Bulldogs have a 5-6 record against teams with a winning record and San Mateo is 4-5 against teams ranked within our rankings. This upcoming week, the Bulldogs will face Foothill on Wednesday on the road and end their week against 3rd ranked Las Positas on the road on Friday evening.

10. Los Medanos (16-3): The Mustangs move up one spot in the rankings following a 2-0 week. Los Medanos picked up wins against Napa Valley and Marin as the Mustangs have won five of their last six games. This season Los Medanos is 3-3 against teams that have a winning record and against ranked teams the Mustangs are 0-3 this season. This week, Los Medanos will take on 7th ranked Contra Costa at home tonight, follow that up with another home game against Mendocino on Wednesday and end the week at home against Merritt on Friday.

11. Santa Rosa (15-8): The Bearcubs drop three spots in the rankings following a 1-2 week. Santa Rosa lost to American River, and Cosumnes River but picked up a victory against Modesto to end a three game skid. This season the Bearcubs have a 10-6 record against teams that have a winning record and Santa Rosa is 6-4 against teams within our rankings this season. This week, Santa Rosa will face 12th ranked Folsom Lake on the road on Tuesday, follow that up with a home game against Diablo Valley on Friday and then face 12th ranked Folsom Lake at home on Saturday.

12. Folsom Lake (12-6): The Falcons stay put at number 12 following a 2-1 week in Big 8 Conference action. Folsom Lake picked up wins against Sacramento and Diablo Valley but had a setback against Sierra in conference action. This season, the Falcons have put together a 3-5 record against teams with winning records and Folsom Lake is 2-4 against teams ranked within our week 11 rankings. This upcoming week, the Falcons will face 11th ranked Santa Rosa on Tuesday, follow that up with a road game against American River and end their week on the road against Santa Rosa on Saturday night.

13. San Joaquin Delta (13-9): The Mustangs jump into the rankings after picking up a win last week. San Joaquin Delta picked up a 79-75 win over Diablo Valley in their only game last week. This season, the Mustangs are 5-9 against teams that have a winning record and San Joaquin Delta is 0-8 against teams that are ranked inside of our week 11 rankings. This week, the Mustangs will face Modesto on Tuesday, and follow that up with a home game against Sacramento on Friday in Big 8 action.

14. Cabrillo (12-8): The Seahawks drop one spot in the rankings after going 2-1 last week in Coast South Conference action. Cabrillo picked up wins against Alameda and Hartnell but suffered a loss against West Valley at home. This season, Cabrillo has put together a 3-8 record against teams that have a winning record and the Seahawks have a 0-7 record against teams within our week 11 rankings. This upcoming week, the Seahawks will face Napa later tonight, take on 5th ranked San Jose on the road on Wednesday and end the week with a home game against Gavilan on Friday.

15. Chabot (14-7): The Gladiators drop one spot in the rankings following a 2-1 week. Chabot picked up two wins against Canada but had a set back against San Mateo at home in Coast North Conference action. This season the Gladiators have a 4-6 record against teams with a winning record and Chabot is 2-3 against teams ranked within our week 11 rankings. This week, Chabot will take on 3rd ranked Las Positas on the road tonight, follow that up with another game against Las Positas on Wednesday at home, face Ohlone on the road on Friday night and end the week on Saturday when the Gladiators face Hartnell at home on Saturday.
