Fullerton knocked off Santiago Canyon and Orange Coast and have now won 17 straight games and are undefeated in conference action. This season the Hornets have put together a 16-1 record against teams that have a winning record with their best win coming against San Francisco/Sequoias. The Hornets have three games remaining and will be in action twice as Fullerton will face Irvine Valley on Wednesday on the road and follow that up with a home game against 8th ranked Saddleback on Friday evening.

2. San Bernardino (22-3): The Wolverines move up one spot in our rankings and jump to number two after picking up two victories last week. San Bernardino continues to roll in conference action after the Wolverines knocked off Mt. San Jacinto and Cerro Coso and have won 11 straight games. This season the Wolverines have a 10-3 record against teams that have a winning record with their best win coming against Fullerton on November 29th. The Wolverines have three games left and San Bernardino will be in action twice as they will face Victor Valley on Wednesday at home and follow that up with a road game against Palo Verde on Saturday.

3. East Los Angeles (20-3): The Huskies move up a spot in our rankings following two more wins last week. East Los Angeles picked up wins against Pasadena and Mt. San Antonio in conference play and the Huskies have now won six games in a row. This season the Huskies have put together a 8-3 record against teams that have posted a winning record with their best win coming against San Bernardino. This week, the Huskies will be in action twice as East Los Angeles will face Rio Hondo on Wednesday on the road and end their week on Friday night with another road game against Los Angeles Trade Tech.

4. Citrus (21-3): The Owls drop three spots in the rankings after being at our top spot for multiple weeks. Citrus picked up a victory over Canyons but lost to unranked Santa Monica in conference action. Citrus has been one of the hottest teams in the state and have put together a 9-2 record against teams that have a winning record this season and their best victory came against San Diego on December 10th. This week the Owls will be in action as twice as Citrus will face Los Angeles Valley on Wednesday on the road and follow that up with a home game against Glendale on Saturday in conference action.

5. San Diego (21-4): The Knights move up a spot in the rankings and move into our top five after picking up two wins last week. San Diego picked up wins over Southwestern and Imperial Valley and have now won six straight games since losing to Palomar. This season the Knights have put together an 8-4 record against teams that have a winning record with their best victory coming against Yuba. The Knights have three games left and this week, San Diego will face 6th ranked San Diego Miramar on the road on Friday night in their lone game of the week.

6. San Diego Miramar (21-3): The Jets move up two spots in the rankings after picking up two victories last week in conference action. Miramar picked up wins against Southwestern and followed that up with another win against Grossmont and the Jets have won six straight and ten of their last eleven games. This season, Miramar has a 10-3 record against teams that have a winning record with their best victory coming against Los Angeles Harbor. This week, the Jets will be in action twice as Miramar will take on Imperial Valley on the road on Wednesday and follow that up with a home game against 5th ranked San Diego on Friday.

7. Los Angeles Harbor (20-4): The Seahawks drop two spots in the rankings after going 1-1 last week. Los Angeles Harbor picked up a win against Los Angeles Southwest but suffered a loss against unranked Long Beach in conference action. This season the Seahawks have played themselves into a 8-4 record against winning teams with their best win coming against East Los Angeles. This week, Los Angeles Harbor will be in action twice as the Seahawks will face Compton on Wednesday and then take on 9th ranked Cerritos on the road on Friday night.

8. Saddleback (17-8): The Bobcats move up three spots in our rankings after picking up two more wins last week. Saddleback picked up wins over Cypress and Riverside and the Bobcats have won six straight games in Orange Empire Conference action. This season, the Bobcats are 8-8 against teams that have a winning record and have played one of the best schedules strength wise in the state with their best victory coming against San Bernardino. Saddleback has three games left and are in 2nd place in the Orange Empire Conference and will take on Orange Coast on the road on Wednesday and follow that up with another road game against top ranked Fullerton on Friday night.

9. Cerritos (17-7): The Falcons move up three spots in the rankings following a shake up above them and picking up two wins last week. Cerritos picked up wins against El Camino and Compton and are currently tied in 2nd place in the South Coast South Conference. This season, the Falcons have put together a 8-7 record against winning teams with their best win coming against Citrus and played a very good schedule. This upcoming week, the Falcons will face Los Angeles Southwest on the road on Wednesday and follow that up with a home game against 7th ranked Los Angeles Harbor on Friday.

10. Ventura (19-6): The Pirates drop three spots in the rankings following a 1-1 week in conference play. Ventura suffered a loss early in the week against Cuesta but followed that up with a win against Moorpark to stay in the race for the conference championship in the Western State North Conference. Ventura has won five of their last six games and have put together a 9-6 record against teams that have a winning record this season. Ventura has three games left this season and the Pirates will be in action twice this week as they will face Los Angeles Pierce at home on Wednesday and follow that up with another home game on Saturday against Santa Barbara.

11. Mt. San Jacinto (18-5): The Eagles drop two spot in the rankings following a loss last week. Mt. San Jacinto lost their second conference game but it came on the hands of San Bernardino and now trail the first place Wolverines by two games. The Eagles have played solid basketball all season and have a 8-5 record against teams that have a winning record with their best win coming against Saddleback. This upcoming week, the Eagles will face Copper Mountain on the road on Wednesday and follow that up with a home game against Desert on Saturday for their conference games within the Inland Empire Conference.

12. Pasadena (18-7): The Lancers drop two spots in the rankings following a 1-1 week in conference action. Pasadena picked up a win against Los Angeles Trade Tech but lost on the road against a very good East Los Angeles team. The Lancers have improved throughout the season and have a 6-7 record against teams that have a winning record with their best win coming against Los Angeles Harbor. 13. Palomar (17-7): The Comets move up one spot in the rankings after putting together two wins last week in Pacific Coast Athletic Conference action. Palomar knocked off MiraCosta and Grossmont and the Comets have won six of their last seven games and are in 3rd place in conference play. This season the Comets have a 6-7 record against teams that have a winning record with their best win coming against San Diego. The Comets have four games left and will be tested this week as Palomar will face Southwestern on the road on Wednesday and follow that up with a home game against San Diego Mesa on Friday evening.

14. West Los Angeles (16-8): The Wildcats return to the rankings after being unranked a week ago after posting two victories. West Los Angeles beat Glendale and Bakersfield and the Wildcats have won five of their last six games and find themselves only a game behind Citrus in the Western State South Conference race for the title. This season the Wildcats have put together a 5-4 record against teams that have a winning record with their best victory coming against East Los Angeles. This upcoming week, West Los Angeles will face Santa Monica on Wednesday at home and follow that up with a road game against Canyons on Saturday within conference play.

15. Allan Hancock (16-8): The Bulldogs drop two spots in our rankings following a 1-1 week. Allan Hancock picked up a win against Oxnard but had a setback against Cuesta and have lost 2 of their last 3 games. This season the Bulldogs have put together a 4-7 record against teams that have a winning record with their best win coming against San Diego.
