1. West Los Angeles (12-2): The Wildcats take over the top spot of our week 7 rankings and become our third different top ranked team in Southern California this season. West Los Angeles picked up wins over Los Angeles City and Los Angeles Harbor since our last rankings came out and have won nine straight games. This season the Wildcats have put together a 5-2 record against teams that have a winning record and have gone 4-2 against teams within our rankings from week 7. This week, the Wildcats will have the week off and return to action on January 10th in conference play when the Wildcats host Antelope Valley.

2. San Diego (11-3): The Knights bump up one spot in the rankings despite having the holiday season off. San Diego has started off Pacific Coast Athletic Conference action with a 2-0 record and have put up a 6-3 record against teams that have a winning record this season. The Knights are 5-3 against ranked teams and have posted wins against Fullerton, Yuba and Chabot this season. This week, San Diego will be in action twice in conference play as the Knights will host San Diego Mesa on Wednesday and follow that up with a road game against Southwestern on Friday.

3. Mt. San Jacinto (14-1): The Eagles drop two spots in our rankings following a 2-1 start record since our last rankings dropped. Mt. San Jacinto had won 12 straight games until the Eagles suffered a road loss against Cerro Coso but followed that up with wins against Victor Valley and Pasadena and have won two straight since the loss. Mt. San Jacinto is 2-1 in conference play and have put together a 3-1 against teams that have a winning record this season. This week, the Eagles will be in action one time as Mt. San Jacinto will host 13th ranked San Bernardino in a conference showdown between two ranked teams on Saturday.

4. Fullerton (11-3): The Hornets stay put in the rankings following two conference wins. Fullerton picked up wins against Golden West and Santa Ana and the Hornets have won four straight games and have started OEC play with two straight wins. This season, Fullerton has put together a 7-3 record against teams that have a winning record and have gone 4-3 against teams that are ranked within our week 7 rankings. This week, the Hornets will be in action twice as Fullerton will face Cypress on the road on Wednesday and follow that up with a home game against 6th ranked Santiago Canyon on Friday.

5. Mt. San Antonio (11-1): The Mounties stay put in the rankings following two wins since our last rankings dropped. Mt. San Antonio picked up wins against Orange Coast and Canyons and have won four straight games since losing to Chaffey on the road on December 2nd. This season Mt. San Antonio has played well and have put together a 4-1 against teams that have posted winning records. The Mounties are 2-1 against teams that are ranked inside of our week 7 and have posted wins against Citrus and Santiago Canyon. This week, Mt. San Antonio will be in action twice as the Mounties will face Los Angeles Harbor at home on Wednesday and follow that up with a road game against Compton on Friday.

6. Santiago Canyon (11-3): The Hawks move up one spot in the rankings after picking up two wins since our last rankings were released. Santiago Canyon picked up conference wins over Saddleback and Riverside as the Hawks have started conference play with a 2-0 record. The Hawks have won five straight and have put together a 4-1 record against teams that have a winning record and Santiago Canyon is 3-1 against teams within our week 7 rankings. This week, Santiago Canyon will face Santa Ana at home on Wednesday and follow that up with a road game against 4th ranked Fullerton on the road on Friday.

7. Cerro Coso (12-2): The Coyotes move up one spot in the rankings following two conference wins. Cerro Coso picked up a huge win against Mt. San Jacinto and followed that up with a road win against Barstow in Inland Empire Conference play. Cerro Coso has now won four straight games and have put together a 4-1 record against teams that have winning records and have victories over Citrus and Mt. San Jacinto. This week, the Coyotes will be in action twice as Cerro Coso will face Victor Valley on the road on Wednesday and follow that up with a home game against Palo Verde on Saturday.

8. Citrus (8-4): The Owls move up one spot in the rankings following a win since our last rankings came out. Citrus picked up a win over Long Beach and despite losing two of their last three the Owls remain in our top 10. This season the Owls have put together a 2-4 record against teams that have a winning record and are 0-4 against teams ranked inside of our week 7 rankings. This week, the Owls have two more non conference games before conference play starts as Citrus will face 9th ranked Moorpark today and follow that up with a home game on Saturday against 10th ranked Allan Hancock.

9. Moorpark (11-4): The Raiders drop three spots in the rankings after going 1-1 since our last rankings came out. Moorpark picked up a win against San Diego Miramar but suffered a road loss against unranked MiraCosta which ended their five game winning streak. This season the Raiders have put together a 6-4 record against teams that have a winning record and have posted victories against Cerro Coso, Fullerton, East Los Angeles and West Los Angeles which is going to help them as seeding comes into the loop. This week, the Raiders have one game as they will host 8th ranked Citrus in a battle between two teams within our top 10 later on today.

10. Allan Hancock (11-4): The Bulldogs stay put in our rankings and remain at number ten after posting two more wins. Allan Hancock picked up wins over MiraCosta and Fresno and the Bulldogs have won seven straight and are one of the hottest teams in the state at the moment. This season the Bulldogs are 5-2 against teams that have a winning record and are 3-2 against teams that are ranked within our week 7 rankings.This week, the Bulldogs have one game as Allan Hancock will face 8th ranked Citrus on the road on Saturday night in a battle between two teams ranked inside of our Socal rankings.

11. Los Angeles Southwest (8-4): The Cougars move up one spot in the rankings despite not having a game over the break. Los Angeles Southwest has been off since December 15th as the Cougars have a 1-3 record against teams that have a winning record with that win coming against San Francisco on November 16th. This week, Los Angeles Southwest will be in action twice as they face Los Angeles City on the road on Wednesday and follow that up with a home game against Rio Hondo on Friday.

12. Chaffey (12-2): The Panthers move up one spot in our rankings after putting together two wins since our last poll was released. Chaffey picked up wins over Victor Valley and Santa Barbara and the Panthers have now won four straight games and 10 of their last 11 games. This season the Panthers have put together a 2-1 record against teams that have a winning record including a win against Mt. San Antonio a team ranked inside of our top five. This week, the Panthers will be in action one time as Chaffey will host 13th ranked San Bernardino in Inland Empire Conference action.

13. San Bernardino (9-5): The Wolverines move up two spots in our rankings after picking up two wins since our last poll. San Bernardino picked up wins against Copper Mountain and Desert and the Wolverines have won six straight games since their slow start. This season, San Bernardino has put together a 2-4 record against teams that have a winning record with wins over East Los Angeles and Saddleback. This week, the Wolverines will face two ranked teams as San Bernardino will be on the road and take on 12th ranked Chaffey on Wednesday and follow that up with another road game on Saturday against 3rd ranked Mt. San Jacinto.

14. Saddleback (8-6): The Bobcats drop three spots after going 1-1 since our last poll was released. Saddleback lost a close game against Santiago Canyon but followed it up with a win over Golden West in Orange Empire Conference action. Saddleback has lost four of their last six games and have put together a 2-6 record against teams that have winning record and all of those losses have come against teams ranked inside of our week 7 rankings. This week, the Bobcats will face Irvine Valley on the road on Wednesday and follow that up with a home game against Cypress on Friday in conference action.

15. East Los Angeles 7-5: The Huskies return to our rankings after putting together four straight wins since our last poll. East Los Angeles picked up wins against Santa Monica, Antelope Valley, Cuyamaca and San Diego Mesa and are now two games over .500. East Los Angeles has posted a 0-5 record against teams that have a winning record as all five losses are against teams inside of our week 7 rankings. This week, the Huskies will take on Compton at home on Wednesday and follow that up with a road game on Friday night against Long Beach.
