Wildcats stay on top but movement in top 5

1. West Los Angeles (18-2): The Wildcats remain one of the hottest teams in the state and remain at the top spot after winning two games last week. West Los Angeles picked up wins over Canyons and Los Angeles Valley and have won 15 straight games. The Wildcats have a 6-2 record against teams that have a winning record with wins over San Diego, Los Angeles Southwest, and San Bernardino. This week will be a week for West Los Angeles as the Wildcats will take on 8th ranked Citrus at home on Wednesday and follow that up with a road game against Antelope Valley on Saturday.

2. Fullerton (18-3): The Hornets move up one spot and move to number two after picking up a win last week in Orange Empire Conference action. Fullerton cruised to a 96-75 win over Golden West and remain unbeaten in Orange Empire Conference play and have won 11 straight games since losing to San Diego on December 8th. This season the Hornets are 9-3 against teams that have winning records and have wins against Santiago Canyon, West Los Angeles, East Los Angeles, Los Angeles Southwest, San Bernardino, MiraCosta and Chabot. This week, the Hornets will be in action twice as Fullerton will host Santa Ana on Wednesday and follow that up with another home game on Friday against Cypress.

3. Allan Hancock (17-4): The Bulldogs move up one spot in our week 11 rankings after picking up two wins last week in conference action. Allan Hancock picked up a 67-51 win over Los Angeles Pierce and followed that up with a 90-53 win over Santa Barbara for their 13th straight victory. This season the Bulldogs have a 8-3 record against teams that have posted a winning record with victories coming against Citrus, Moorpark, MiraCosta, Ohlone, Fresno, West Hills Lemoore and San Jose. This week, the Bulldogs will be in action one time as Allan Hancock will host Ventura on Wednesday.

4. San Diego (17-4): The Knights drop two spots in our rankings following a 1-1 week in Pacific Coast Athletic Conference action. San Diego lost against MiraCosta and fell a game behind the Spartans but ended the way with a 112-63 win over Grossmont on the road. This season, San Diego has a 7-4 record against teams that have a winning record with wins against Fullerton, Yuba, Saddleback, Allan Hancock, and Chabot. This week, the Knights will be in action twice as San Diego will face Cuyamaca on the road on Wednesday and follow that up with another road game againstt San Diego Mesa on Friday evening.

5. Mt. San Jacinto (18-2): The Eagles move back into the top five after putting together two victories last week in Inland Empire Conference action. Mt. San Jacinto picked up wins over Barstow and Cerro Coso and are currently in a 2nd place tie in the conference. This season the Eagles have a 7-2 record against teams that have a winning record with wins over Cerro Coso, San Bernardino, Pasadena, East Los Angeles, and West Hills Lemoore. This week, the Eagles will face Victor Valley on the road on Wednesday and follow that up with a home game on Saturday against Palo Verde.

6. Mt. San Antonio (18-2): The Mounties move up two spots in our week 11 rankings after putting together two wins last week. Mt. San Antonio opened up conference action and knocked off Los Angeles City and East Los Angeles and continue to be a team that is closing in on a top four seed as the playoffs are approaching. This season, Mt. San Antonio has a 5-2 record against teams that have put together a winning record as the Mounties have victories over Citrus, East Los Angeles, Irvine Valley and Santiago Canyon. This week, the Mounties will face 14th ranked Pasadena on Wednesday at home and follow that up with another home game against Rio Hondo on Friday evening.

7. Chaffey (18-3): The Panthers drop two spots in our rankings following a 1-1 week in Inland Empire Conference action. Chaffey lost on the road against Cerro Coso but followed that up with a 111-101 win over Victor Valley and remain in first place in the conference despite the loss by a game. This season the Panthers are 7-2 against teams that have a winning record with victories over Cerritos, Mt. San Antonio, San Bernardino, and Mt. San Jacinto. This week, the Panthers will face Palo Verde on the road on Wednesday and follow that up with a road game against 12th ranked San Bernardino on Saturday.

8. Citrus (15-5): The Owls move up one spot in our week 11 rankings after putting together two wins last week in conference play. Citrus beat Glendale and Antelope Valley and remained unbeaten in Western State South conference play and have won six straight games since losing against Allan Hancock. This season, the Owls are 6-5 against teams that have posted a winning record with victories over Moorpark, Pasadena and MiraCosta. This week the Owls will start the week with a big man as Citrus takes on top ranked West Los Angeles on the road on Wednesday and follow that up with a home game against Bakersfield on Saturday.

9. Cerro Coso (17-4): The Coyotes drop one spot in our week 11 rankings following a 1-1 week in conference action. Cerro Coso picked up a huge win over Chaffey but ended the week with a road loss against Mt. San Jacinto as the Coyotes are in a tie for 2nd place. This season, Cerro Coso is 6-3 against teams that have a winning record and have wins against Chaffey, Mt. San Jacinto, Citrus, Los Angeles Southwest and Moorpark. This week, the Coyotes will face Barstow at home on Wednesday and end their week with another home game against Victor Valley on Saturday.

10. MiraCosta (14-6): The Spartans move up two spots in the rankings following a huge week and picking up a win in conference. MiraCosta picked up a win over San Diego and took control of the Pacific Coast Athletic Conference as the Spartans remained undefeated and have won seven straight games. This season the Spartans have a 4-5 record against teams that have a winning record with wins coming against San Diego, San Diego Miramar, and Moorpark. This week, the Spartans will look to stay hot as MiraCosta will face Imperial Valley on the road on Wednesday and follow that up with another road game against Cuyamaca on Friday evening.

11. Moorpark (16-6): The Raiders move up two spots in our rankings after putting together two wins last week. Moorpark picked up wins over Oxnard and Cuesta and the Raiders have won six of their last seven games and are a 1/2 game back in the standings in the Western State North Conference. This season, the Raiders have a 7-6 record against teams that have a winning record and have victories over East Los Angeles, West Los Angeles, Fullerton, Cerro Coso, and San Diego Miramar. This week, the Raiders will be in action one time as Moorpark will face Los Angeles Pierce at home on Saturday.

12. San Bernardino (14-7): The Wolverines move up two spots in our rankings following a win last week in Inland Empire Conference action. San Bernardino picked up a 65-51 win over Copper Mountain and the Wolverines have won five straight wins and are currently in a three way tie for 2nd place in conference play. This season the Wolverines are 5-6 against teams that have a winning record with wins against Cerro Coso, East Los Angeles, Saddleback and San Diego Miramar. This week, the Wolverines will face Desert on the road on Wednesday and follow that up with a home game on Saturday against 7th ranked Chaffey.

13. Santiago Canyon (15-6): The Hawks drop three spots in our rankings after going 1-1 last week in Orange Empire Conference action. Santiago Canyon picked up a win over Orange Coast but suffered a home loss against Saddleback and dropped three games out of first place. This season, the Hawks have a 5-4 record against teams that have a winning record with wins coming against Saddleback, Citrus, Chaffey and MiraCosta. This week, the Hawks will face Riverside on Wednesday on the road and follow that up with another road game against Santa Ana on Friday.

14. Pasadena (13-7): The Lancers come into our rankings at the fourteen spot after posting two wins last week. Pasadena picked up wins over East Los Angeles and Los Angeles Trade Tech and the Lancers have won six straight games. This season the Lancers are 5-5 against teams that have a winning record and Pasadena has victories over East Los Angeles, Los Angeles Southwest, and Santa Rosa. This upcoming week, the Lancers will have two games as Pasadena will face 6th ranked Mt. San Antonio on Wednesday and follow that up with a home game against Los Angeles City on Friday.

15. East Los Angeles (13-7): The Huskies drop four spots in the rankings after having a tough week to start conference play dropping two straight games. East Los Angeles lost to Pasadena and Mt. San Antonio ending their 10 game winning streak. This season the Huskies have put together a 2-7 record against teams with a winning record with their wins coming against Los Angeles Southwest and Cerritos. This upcoming week, the Huskies will look to get into the win column in conference play as East Los Angeles will face Rio Hondo on the road on Wednesday and follow that up with a game on the road against Los Angeles Trade Tech on Friday.
