Isaiah Cabrera scored 18 points and Bobby Arenas added 11 points as 6th ranked San Mateo (7-1) overcame at 20 point halftime deficit to sneak by 5th ranked San Jose 76-73 on Tuesday night. San Jose (7-2) led 51-31 at the half, but the Bulldogs overcame the deficit and took the lead on a late three pointer to pick up the win in a battle of teams ranked within our Northern California rankings.

Moorpark, CA – Moorpark 81 Copper Mountain 78

Carter Alexander continued his hot play as the guard scored 28 points and Rocco Ponmpeo added 14 points as Moorpark (5-6) picked up a 81-78 win over Copper Mountain (2-4). Mikah Blackwell had 24 points and 13 rebounds in the loss for the Fighting Cacti.

Pittsburg, CA – (7) Los Medanos 101 Sacramento 74

Zack Martinez continued his hot start as the guard put on a show and had 35 points and Keenami Maggard added 21 points as 7th ranked Los Medanos (7-0) remained undefeated cruising past Sacramento 101-74. Khyri Marshall had 25 points and Jake Paxton added 18 points for Sacramento (2-5) in the loss.

Marysville, CA – (9) Yuba 95 Shasta 72

Jacob Henry had 19 points, 5 steals and 5 assists and Jordan Bryant added 18 points and 10 rebounds as 9th ranked Yuba (4-3) won their fourth straight game and moved above .500 for the first time this season with a 95-72 win over Shasta (4-5) in non conference action. Derek Gorden had 14 points and Samer Khalil added 11 points in the loss for the Knights.

Long Beach, CA – Long Beach 64 (9) Canyons 55

Lorenzo Marsh had 22 points and 7 rebounds, and Shane Hunter added 11 points and 7 rebounds as Long Beach (3-4) knocked off their second straight ranked opponent beating 9th ranked College of the Canyons 64-55 on Tuesday night. Dillon Barrientos had 15 points and was the only Cougar to score in double figures for Canyons in the loss.

Blythe, CA – Palo Verde 93 Desert 71

Domineque Johnson had 20 points and 17 rebounds and Waylon Anderson added 20 points as Palo Verde (5-3) ended their two game losing streak with a 93-71 win over Desert (0-5). Marquis McKinzey had 17 points and Abraham Bell added 13 points and 11 rebounds in the loss.

Napa, CA – De Anza 91 Napa Valley 82

De Anza (2-5) ended their three game losing streak picking up a 91-82 road win over Napa Valley (0-7). Jaivon Williams had 21 points and Chris Thompson added 15 points in the loss for the Storm which lost their seventh straight game to start the season.

Folsom, CA – Folsom Lake 89 Alameda 58

Pierce Rexford had 22 points and Dane Johnson added 17 points as Folsom Lake (2-3) scored a 89-58 victory over Alameda (1-5). The Falcons have now won 2 of their last three games with the Tuesday night victory.

Oxnard, CA – Antelope Valley JV 88 Oxnard 86

The Antelope Valley JV picked up a road win over Oxnard 88-86 on Tuesday night. James Webster had 26 points and 14 rebounds and Chrys Jackson added 21 points, 5 assists and 4 rebounds for Oxnard (2-3) which gave away a 15 point lead to lose the game.
