1. Mt. San Jacinto (11-0): The Eagles stay at the top of the rankings following three wins last week. Mt. San Jacinto picked up wins over Riverside, East Los Angeles and Saddleback at the Riverside tournament and have now won eleven straight games to start the season. Mt. San Jacinto has a 2-0 record against teams that have a winning record and have a 1-0 record against teams within our week five rankings. This week, the Eagles will start off Inland Empire Conference action as Mt. San Jacinto will face Palo Verde on the road on Thursday evening.

2. Citrus (7-2): The Owls move up in the rankings three spots after the shake up above them and picking up a win last week. Citrus picked up a 61-59 victory over San Diego Miramar and the Owls has won seven of their last eight games. Citrus has put together a 1-2 record against teams that have a winning record and are 0-2 against teams that are ranked within our week five rankings. This week, the Owls will be in action twice as Citrus will face 11th ranked West Hills Lemoore at home and follow that up with a road game against 9th ranked Cerro Coso.

3. West Los Angeles (9-2): The Wildcats jump into our top five and move up three spots in our rankings after putting together three wins last week. West Los Angeles knocked off Southwestern, Los Angeles Southwest and upended San Diego and the Wildcats have now won six straight games. The Wildcats are 5-2 against teams that have a winning record and are 3-2 against teams that ranked within our week five rankings. The Wildcats will face Compton at home on Thursday for their lone game of the week as West Los Angeles will look for their seventh straight victory.

4. San Diego (9-3): The Knights drop two spots in the rankings following a 1-1 week at the Fullerton Tournament. San Diego beat Fullerton 86-77 but lost against West Los Angeles the following night 70-67 ending a five game winning streak. San Diego has a 6-3 record against teams that have a winning record and the Knights are 5-3 against teams within our rankings but have victories against some very good teams around the state. This week the Knights will start Pacific Coast Athletic Conference action with two games as San Diego will face Grossmont on Wednesday and follow that up with another home game against Cuyamaca on Friday night.

5. Fullerton (8-3): The Hornets drop one spot in the rankings following a 2-1 week as Fullerton hosted their own tournament. Fullerton picked up a 110-74 win over Los Angeles Southwest and also beat Southwestern 101-57 but lost against San Diego 86-77 but the Hornets have won four of their last five games. This season the Hornets have a 4-3 record against teams that have a winning record and are 4-3 against teams within our rankings. This week, the Hornets will face 14th ranked East Los Angeles on the road on Thursday night for their last non conference game.

6. Mt. San Antonio (8-1): The Mounties move up one spot in the rankings following a win last week. Mt. San Antonio picked up a 78-68 win over Irvine Valley and the Mounties have started off the season winning eight of their first nine games. This season the Mounties are 3-1 against teams that have a winning record and are 2-1 against teams that are ranked within our week five rankings. This week, Mt. San Antonio will be in action one time as the Mounties will host Riverside on Tuesday evening.

7. Moorpark (9-3): The Raiders continue to play solid basketball and move up another spot in the rankings after going 1-0 last week. Moorpark went on the road and dismantled Cerro Coso 94-77 as the Raiders won their third straight game and have won six of their last seven games. This season the Raiders have put together a 5-3 record against teams that have a winning record. Moorpark has the same record against teams that are within our rankings. This week, the Raiders will be in action one time as Moorpark will host Santa Ana on Friday for their lone game of the week.

8. Santiago Canyon (9-3): The Hawks move up two spots in the rankings following two wins last week. Santiago Canyon posted victories against Los Angeles Harbor and Palomar for their third straight win after losing two straight games. This season the Hawks are 3-1 against teams that have a winning record and are 2-2 against teams that are within our week five rankings. This week, the Hawks will have the week off and return to action on December 19th in their conference opener on the road against 11th ranked Saddleback.

9. Cerro Coso (9-2): The Coyotes drop six spots in the rankings following a 1-2 week. Cerro Coso started the season off winners of eight straight games but suffered losses against Moorpark and San Mateo before picking up a win over Reedley. This season the Coyotes are 2-1 against teams that have a winning record but have lost two of their last three games. This week, Cerro Coso will be in action one time as the Coyotes will face 2nd ranked Citrus at home on Saturday evening.

10. Allan Hancock (6-4): The Bulldogs move up four spots in the rankings after a big shake up above them with teams that lost games and winning their lone game last week. Allan Hancock picked up a home win against Porterville for their second straight win. This season the Bulldogs are 2-3 against teams that have a winning record and Hancock is 2-2 against teams that are within our week five rankings. This week, the Bulldogs will face Ohlone on Thursday, Siskiyous on Friday and end their week with a game against 12th ranked Monterey on Saturday.

11. Saddleback (7-5): The Bobcats only drop two spots despite going 1-2 last week as teams below them suffered losses as well. Saddleback beat Ventura but lost to San Bernardino and Mt. San Jacinto as the Bobcats have lost three of their last four games. Saddleback is 1-5 against teams that have a winning record and are ranked within our week five rankings. This week, the Bobcats will be off before having facing 8th ranked Santiago Canyon at home in their conference opener on December 19th.

12. Los Angeles Southwest (6-4): The Cougars stay put in the rankings after losing two straight last week. Los Angeles Southwest lost against Fullerton and West Los Angeles and the Cougars had their two game winning streak snapped. This season against teams that have winning records Los Angeles Southwest has a 1-3 record and Los Angeles Southwest has a victory over San Francisco. This upcoming week, Los Angeles Southwest will be action twice as the Cougars will face Los Angeles Pierce on the road on Wednesday and follow that up with another road game against Cypress on Friday.

13. Chaffey (9-2): The Panthers stay put at number thirteen after going 1-1 last week. Chaffey lost to Santa Monica at home but picked up a win against Imperial Valley as the Panthers have started the season winning nine of their first eleven games. This season the Panthers are 3-1 against teams with a winning record and have played solid basketball to start the season. This week, the Panthers will start conference action as Chaffey will host Palo Verde on Saturday and look to win their second straight game.

14. Santa Monica (6-6): The Corsairs come back into the rankings despite their .500 record. Santa Moinca won both games last week picking up wins against Chaffey and Cerritos and the Corsairs have won four of their last five games. This season the Corsairs have played one of the most difficult schedules in the state and have put together a 3-4 record against teams that have winning records and are also 3-4 against teams that are ranked within our week five rankings. This week, the Corsairs will be in action one time as Santa Monica will go on the road and face Rio Hondo on Wednesday.

15. San Bernardino (6-5): The Wolverines come back into the rankings after winning three straight games last week. San Bernardino picked up wins against East Los Angeles, Saddleback and Ventura last week as the Wolverines have won three straight since their rough start. San Bernardino has went 1-4 against teams that have a winning record and all five of their losses have come against teams that are within our week five rankings. This week, the Wolverines will play thier last non conference game of the season as San Bernardino will take on Riverside on the road on Thursday night.
