1. West Valley (8-0): The Vikings remain our week 4 number one team in Northern California after picking up three wins since our last poll. West Valley had victories over Marin, Contra Costa and Canada and all the Vikings victories were at least by 25 points as the Saratoga based school has started the season winners of eight straight games. West Valley has wins over San Diego and Fullerton and a road victory over a very good Fresno team as well. The Vikings have a big week as this week they will face 10th ranked Las Positas at home on Wednesday and follow that up with a road game against 3rd ranked Chabot in Hayward on Friday night.

2. Cabrillo (10-0): The Seahawks move up one spot in our rankings since our last poll after going 4-0 the past two weeks. Cabrillo has been solid all season long and the Seahawks posted wins against Cuesta, Alameda, Folsom Lake and a very impressive victory over Columbia yesterday to win the Salt Water Classic. In all four of those wins, the Seahawks put up 100 points and no game was closer than 17 points. Cabrillo has went over the 100 point mark six times this season and have a 2-0 record against teams within our Signal The Light Basketball rankings. This week, Cabrillo will be in action one time as the Seahawks hit the road and face Napa Valley on Saturday for their lone game of the week.

3. Chabot (9-2): The Gladiators stay in the same spot in our rankings and are in the top three for the first time this season. Chabot came up with three straight victories since our last poll and have now won six straight games. Chabot picked up wins against Irvine Valley, Sierra and knocked off a previously unbeaten Monterey Peninsula team to win the Monterey Bay Classic. The Gladiators have two losses on the season as Chabot lost to Fullerton and San Diego and have played against six teams from Southern California. This week, the Gladiators will be in action one time as Chabot will take on top ranked West Valley at home on Friday night.

4. Yuba (6-1): The 49ers drop one spot in our rankings since our last poll after going 3-1 since the release of our last poll. Yuba did suffer a loss against San Diego 71-69 at the Grossmont Tournament, but the 49ers pulled off and impressive home win against San Francisco, beat a very good Moorpark team and knocked off Grossmont and have started the season winning six of their first seven games. Yuba is 2-1 against teams within our rankings and the 49ers will be in action twice this upcoming week. Yuba will face Butte on the road on Wednesday and follow that up with a home game against Sierra on Saturday evening.

5. San Francisco (8-2): The Rams stay put in the rankings after going 2-1 since our last poll two weeks ago. San Francisco lost to Yuba on the road but picked up wins against San Joaquin Delta and knocked off Sequoias at home as they beat the Giants for the second time this season. The Rams are 3-2 against teams that are ranked within our rankings and have started the season winning eight of their first ten games. This week, San Francisco will be off and the Rams return to action on December 14th when they face Butte in Stockton at the Tristan Hill Holiday Tournament hosted by San Joaquin Delta.

6. Sacramento (8-0): The Panthers make a three place jump in our week four rankings and are closely getting closer to the top after picking up two wins since our last poll. Sacramento picked up wins against Butte and went on the road and knocked off Ohlone to pick up their eighth straight win on the season. Sacramento has not faced a ranked team in our current rankings but the Panthers have played solid basketball all season long. Sacramento will be in action three times this week as the Panthers will play at the Modesto Tournament as they will face West Hills Coalinga on Thursday in first round action.

7. Sequoias (5-2): The Giants drop one spot in our rankings after going 2-1 since our last poll dropped. Sequoias picked up a huge road victory over San Jose 69-54 and knocked off San Joaquin Delta but suffered a set back against San Francisco as the Giants have lost to the Rams two times this season. Sequoias are 2-2 against teams that are ranked and have not lost to anyone else besides City College of San Francisco. This week, the Giants will be in action three times as Sequoias will face Palo Verde on Tuesday, and follow that up with games against Antelope Valley on Friday and follow that up with another game against Butte on Saturday night.

8. San Jose (8-2): The Jags drop one spot in our rankings following a 1-1 week since our last rankings dropped. San Jose suffered a home loss against Sequoias but followed that up with a home win against Fresno as the Jags have won three of their last four games. San Jose is 1-2 against teams within our rankings but picked up a huge win against San Diego earlier this season. This week, San Jose will be in action one time as the Jags will host 15th ranked Los Medanos on Wednesday for their lone game of the week.

9. Columbia (10-1): The Claim Jumpers drop one spot in our rankings following a 4-1 record since our last rankings came out. Columbia had wins over Lassen, Folsom Lake, Feather River and San Mateo before suffering their first loss against Cabrillo yesterday in the championship game at the Saltwater Classic. Columbia has started off the season winning ten of their first eleven games but the Claim Jumpers have not beat a team ranked within our Signal The Light Basketball rankings. This week, Columbia will be in action one time as the Claim Jumpers will be on the road and face American River on Thursday.

10. Las Positas (9-1): The Hawks continue to win and Las Positas move up two spots in our rankings after putting together four wins since our last poll. Las Positas knocked off Marin, Siskiyous, Lassen and Shasta and are currently on an eight game winning streak at the moment. The Hawks have one loss on the season as it came on the hands of American River but Las Positas has not faced a team ranked within our Signal The Light Basketball rankings or a team that has a winning record. This week, the Hawks will be on the court twice as Las Positas will face top ranked West Valley on the road on Wednesday and follow that up with another road game against Diablo Valley on Saturday night.

11. Merced (8-1): The Blue Devils move up two spots in our poll after going 2-0 since our last rankings dropped. Merced beat Hartnell and needed double overtime to knock off Cuesta as the Blue Devils have won five straight games. Merced has started the season off winning eight of their first nine games and their lone loss of the season came against Cabrillo on November 7th. Merced is 1-1 against teams within our rankings as the Blue Devils knocked off Skyline and this upcoming week the Blue Devils will be at the Modesto Tournament where they will face Lassen on Thursday in first round action.

12. West Hills Lemoore (6-2): The Golden Eagles drop one spot in our rankings after going 1-1 since our last poll was drop. Lemoore picked up a huge road win at Ohlone but had a home set back getting blown out by Allan Hancock at home 85-53 which ended their two game winning streak. The Golden Eagles have played six teams from Southern California and their two losses have come against ranked teams within our Signal The Light Basketball rankings. This week, the Golden Eagles are back in action as Lemoore will face Gavilan on the road on Friday for their lone game of the week.

13. Monterey (7-1): The Lobos drop two spots in our rankings after suffering their first loss of the season and going 2-1. Monterey had a great start to their season winning their first seven games before losing to Chabot in the championship game of the Monterey Bay Classic as the Lobos lost 88-67 on their home floor. Monterey has played well and are 1-1 against teams that have a winning record this season. This week Monterey will face Los Angeles Valley on Thursday in first round action at the Santa Barbara City College tournament.

14. Skyline (7-2): The Trojans remain in our rankings at the same spot after posting a 2-1 record since we dropped our last rankings. Skyline knocked off Napa Valley and Diablo Valley but suffered a home loss against unranked Santa Rosa 71-51. This season the Trojans have played solid basketball and have posted a 1-2 record against teams that have a winning record and are 0-1 against teams within our rankings. This week, the Trojans will be at home on Wednesday as Skyline will face Hartnell and follow that up with another home game against Siskiyous on Saturday.

15. Los Medanos (6-3): The Mustangs round off our rankings and come into our week four rankings at number fifteen. Los Medanos picked up two wins since our last rankings have dropped and have won four of their last five games. Los Medanos picked up wins against Diablo Valley and Gavilan and have lost three games by a total of 11 points combined. The Mustangs have losses against Cosumnes River, Skyline and undefeated Sacramento and have played well to start the season. This week, the Mustangs will be in action on Wednesday as Los Medanos will face 8th ranked San Jose on the road.

Signaling a Light: Cosumnes River (5-3), Santa Rosa (5-3), West Hills Coalinga (5-3), Redwoods (7-5), Ohlone (6-4).
