Don Gehler Memorial Tournament – San Diego, CA

In the championship game in San Diego, Jakob Milling had 23 points and 6 rebounds and Alex Mirhosseini added 20 points as 11th ranked San Diego Miramar (3-0) brought home the championship with a 82-75 overtime win over MiraCosta (2-1). Kobe Smith had 25 points and Darryl Jackson Jr added 14 points in the loss for the Spartans.

In the 3rd place game, Adam Sevier scored 22 points and Chad Robinson added 14 points and 10 rebounds as Palomar (2-1) took home 3rd place with a 85-70 win over Southwestern (1-2). Damascus Sanders had a game high of 31 points and Karl Ashley added 15 points and 9 rebounds in the loss for the Jaguars.

In other action, Jack Garrison had 18 points and 7 rebounds and Isreal Goldsmith added 15 points and 6 rebounds as 15th ranked Copper Mountain (1-2) used a big second half to pick up their first win of the season with a 80-66 victory over Los Angeles Valley (1-2). Sargent Jeffrey and Nikko Rodriguez each had 11 points in the loss for the Monarchs.

In another game on Saturday, Gavin Davis had 28 points and John Claussel added 16 points as West Los Angeles (2-1) won their 2nd straight game with a 94-77 win over Desert (0-3). Loren Beamon had 15 points and Isaiah Riley added 13 points in the loss for the Roadrunners.

Tony Costello Tip Off Tournament – Livermore, CA

In the championship game of the Tony Costello Tip Off Tournament, tournament Most Valuable Player Jordahn Johnson had 21 points and 12 rebounds and Isaiah Victor added 20 points as 14th ranked Las Positas (3-0) picked up a 90-84 win over 10th ranked Columbia (2-1). Caleb Chiang had 19 points and Keshawn Hall added 18 points in the loss for the Claimjumpers.

In the 3rd place game, Miles Lewis scored 20 points and Seneca Willoughby added 12 points and 6 rebounds as 6th ranked Contra Costa (2-1) took home third place with a 84-69 win over Los Medanos (1-2). D’Montay Warner had 14 points and Devin Carson scored 13 points in the loss for the Mustangs.

In the consolation championship game, Brandon Scott scored 20 points and Karlos Zepeda added 15 points as 5th ranked Cosumnes River (2-1) picked up a 97-85 win over Siskiyous (1-2). Cole Bernius had 22 points and Dylan Neufeld added 17 points in the loss.

In the 7th place game, Butte (1-2) picked up their first win of the season with a 94-50 win over the Simpson JV.

O’Fallon and Singui Classic – Santa Monica, CA

Axel Perez scored 20 points and Max Morelli added 17 points and 5 rebounds as Rio Hondo (2-1) picked up a 86-73 win over Compton (0-2). Lamin Williams scored 24 points and Denzel Okoli added 16 points and 9 assists in the loss for the Tartars.

In other game action, Logen Howard made five three pointers and had 24 points and Jaiden Greene added 19 points as Orange Coast (2-0) won their second straight game with a 93-60 victory over Los Angeles Pierce (0-2). Gabe Abbott had 11 points and 6 rebounds and Tyrese Windham added 10 points in the loss for the Brahmas.

In the final game of the night, Lorenzo Wright had 16 points and Anjay Cortez added 15 points as 6th ranked San Diego (2-0) picked up a 81-70 victory over Santa Monica (1-2). Cam Cohn had 21 points and Quinn Collins added 16 points and 6 rebounds in the loss for the Corsairs.

We Play Hard Tournament – Ventura, CA

In final day action in Ventura, Rande Harper scored 22 points and Shant Chenorhavorian made six three pointers and added 18 points as Pasadena (1-2) picked up their first win of the season knocking off Saddleback 70-65. Nick Bowden had 17 points and Jimuel Reyes added 14 points in the loss for Saddleback (2-1).

In the second game of the day, Darius McClain scored 21 points and Courtland Moffatt added 15 points as 9th ranked Riverside (3-0) won their third straight game and knocked off 13th ranked Los Angeles Trade Tech 74-61 with a big second half. Damjan Vukevic and Eddie Evans Jr added 14 points and 6 rebounds in the loss for Trade Tech (0-4).

In the final game of the tournament, Adrian McIntyre scored 23 points and Marcus Watson added 20 points as 5th ranked Ventura (2-1) cruised to a 95-78 win over Antelope Valley (1-2). Evan Scott-Alexander had 18 points and Joshua Assiff added 14 points in the loss for the Marauders.

55th Gladiator Classic – Hayward, CA

Jaiden Rivera went off for 29 points and Diggy Winbush added 22 points and 5 assists as 4th ranked Chabot (3-0) continued to roll with a 90-69 victory over Alameda (2-1).

Matthew Villanueva scored 26 points and Jude Jennings added 18 points as Ohlone (3-0) remained undefeated slipping past Reedley 76-71 on Saturday afternoon. Khalil Shivers scored 22 points and Obadiah Curtis added 18 points in the loss for Reedley (1-3).

In other action, Malik Edwards scored 18 points and Diablo Valley (1-2) picked up their first win of the season with a 65-61 come from behind win over Shasta (0-3).

San Jose City Tip Off – San Jose, CA

Malik Ross scored 21 points and Suheil Ibrahim added 12 points and 11 rebounds as Monterey (2-1) picked up a 74-71 win over Feather River (0-3).

In other action, 15th ranked San Mateo (3-0) won their third straight game over the weekend and cruised past Lassen 76-57. Mason Saso had 21 points and Darien Guyton added 15 points in the loss for Lassen (0-3).

In the final game of the day, Mike Teal went off and scored 29 points and Rob Smid added 22 points as Merced (1-2) picked up their first win of the season knocking off 11th ranked San Jose 104-98 in double overtime. It was the third straight overtime game for the Blue Devils in three days. The loss moved San Jose to 2-1 on the season.

CCSF Tip Off Tournament – San Francisco, CA

Jalen Williams had 17 points and 8 rebounds and Jamal Frenchwood added 14 points as Foothill (2-0) won their second straight game with a 72–70 win over Marin (1-2). Daniel Fagan had 20 points and Tre McPherson added 16 points in the loss for the Mariners.

In other action, Jamir Thomas had 23 points and Te’Jon Sawyer added 16 points as top ranked San Francisco (2-0) picked up a 109-58 win over Santa Rosa (0-2).

Dana Pagett Tipoff – Santa Ana, CA

Lorenzo Marsh made five three pointers and scored 19 points and Bonard Johnson Jr. added 16 points and 9 rebounds as 8th ranked Long Beach (2-0) crushed Santa Ana 88-59. Kelvonte Ellis and Tyler Woods each scored 11 points in the loss for Santa Ana (0-3).

In the 3rd place game, Xaiver Rubio made five three pointers and scored 36 points and Ethan James added 16 points and 7 rebounds as Cuyamca (1-2) picked up a 88-81 win over Barstow (0-2). Marc Docarmo had 26 points and Prineko Kolaker added 14 points and 6 rebounds in the loss for the Vikings.
