In a battle between two ranked teams in Northern California, Fabian Reichstadt had 16 points and Cam Thomas added 15 points as 13th ranked Gavilan (10-3) won their fourth straight game with a 73-56 home win over 7th ranked Ohlone (10-2). Matthew Villanueva had 18 points and Jude Jennings added 11 points in the loss for the Renegades.

Hill Holiday Tournament – Stockton, CA

In first round action today in Stockton, Tamatoa Humbert had 20 points and Isaiah Duve had 17 points as Sierra (5-5) picked up a 62-61 win in overtime over Merritt (4-7). Josh Palmer had 14 points and Chokri Bachta added 11 points in the loss for the Thunderbirds.

In the second game of the day, Tejon Sawyer had 19 points and EJ Neal added 15 points as 2nd ranked San Francisco (9-2) advanced to the semi finals with a 98-76 win over Butte (6-7). Rolontae Knowles had 15 points and Ozzy Meadows added 12 points in the loss for the Roadrunners.

In other action, Shasta (4-10) picked up a 67-63 win over San Joaquin Delta (2-8) to move into the semi finals. kendrick Curry had 22 points and 11 rebounds and Dom Perasso added 13 points in the loss for the Mustangs.

In the night cap, Seneca Willoughby had 17 points, 16 rebounds and 10 assists and Miles Lewis added 14 points and 6 assists as Contra Costa (5-4) cruised to a 87-59 win over Merced (3-9). Mike Teal had 35 points in the loss for the Blue Devils. Shasta will take on Contra Costa in the semi finals and Merced will take on San Joaquin Delta in the consolation bracket.

Kris Kringle Tournament – Santa Rosa, CA

In first round action in Northern California, 4th ranked Redwoods (15-1) won their eighth straight game with a 70-58 win over Pasadena (6-6).

In other action in the first round, Devin Malcolm had 22 points and 18 rebounds and Caden Flowers added 19 points as 8th ranked Yuba (8-2) picked up a 82-68 win over Foothill (7-5). Yuba will face Redwoods in the semi finals and Foothill will take on Pasadena in the consolation side of the bracket.

On the opposite side of the bracket, Jack Reardon had 19 points and Cheikh Gueye added 16 points and 10 rebounds as Mendocino (3-7) picked up a 83-79 win over Feather River (2-12) to advance to the semi finals. Fabian Cox had 25 points and Terry Williams III added 21 points in the loss.

In the last game of the night, Devin Carson had 25 points and Ramon Bailey Jr added 24 points as 12th ranked Los Medanos (7-3) picked up a 93-79 first round win over Santa Rosa (2-8). The Mustangs will face Mendocino in the semi finals and tournament host Santa Rosa will take on Feather River in the consolation semi finals.

In the first game of the day in San Jose, Allan Hancock (7-5) won their fourth straight game with a 79-77 win over Monterey (6-6). Tre Titus had 17 points and Jaden Adams had 14 points for the Lobos in the loss.

In a battle between two teams ranked in Northern California 10th ranked San Jose (11-3) won their seventh straight game with a 65-58 win over 15th ranked Siskiyous (9-6). Cade Ealy had 14 points and Dylan Neufeld added 13 points in the loss for the Eagles.

Porterville, CA – (3) East Los Angeles 58 Porterville 55

In the central valley of California, Corey Cofield II had 13 points and Donjae Lindsey added 12 points as 3rd ranked East Los Angeles (7-2) overcame a 10 point halftime deficit and slipped past Porterville 58-55 on Thursday night. Jalen Foy had 13 points in the loss for Porterville (4-7).

Sacramento, CA – Cosumnes River 91 Solano 79

Juanluis Rubio had 21 points and Karlos Zepeda added 19 points as Cosumnes River (6-6) moved to .500 with a 91-79 home win over Solano (2-8). Jonathon Cobbs had 23 points and Jacques Jones added 17 points and 9 rebounds in the loss for the Falcons.

Glendale, CA – Glendale 79 Golden West 70

Gabino Ramirez had 17 points and Immanuel Lewis added 14 points as Glendale (7-6) held off Golden West 79-70 on Thursday evening. Soma Doherty had 15 points and Michael Ernest added 12 points for Golden West (2-10) in the loss.
