Isaiah Skinner had 31 points and Desean Stevens added 19 points in the loss for Mt. San Jacinto (12-1, 1-1).

Sylis Gray had 28 points and Jason Lee added 16 points and 11 assists as 15th ranked San Bernardino (8-5, 1-0) picked up a 91-61 conference openiing win over Copper Mountain (4-9, 0-1). DJ Ralston had 15 points and Jordan Montgomery added 13 points in the loss for the Fightin Cacti.

Joseph Rojas made seven three pointers and had a game high of 25 points and 6 rebounds and Jermayn Baxter added 14 points and 6 rebounds as Desert (6-7 1-0) won their conference opener with a 77-75 home win over Palo Verde (7-7, 0-3). Jaylen Ayala had 23 points and 6 assists and JD Carr added 22 points and 6 rebounds in the loss for the Pirates.
