Sid Duplessis had 22 points and Drew Fischer added 18 points, 10 rebounds and 6 assists as 9th ranked Sacramento (13-1, 2-0) went on the road and picked up a huge 85-82 road win over Santa Rosa (9-5, 1-1). Justin Smith had 18 points and Chris Holley added 17 points in the loss for the Bearcubs.
Folsom, CA – San Joaquin Delta 72 Folsom Lake 67
Dom Victor had 18 points and Dayton Magana added 16 points as San Joaquin Delta (5-8, 1-0) won their conference opener on the road with a 72-67 win over Folsom Lake (5-8, 0-2).
Rocklin, CA – Sierra 68 American River 48
Sierra (4-10, 1-1) picked up their first conference win with a 68-48 home win over American River (6-7, 0-2) on Friday afternoon.
Sacramento, CA – Cosumnes River 80 Modesto 64
Cosumnes River (9-5, 2-0) remained unbeaten in conference action picking up a 80-64 home win over Modesto (4-10, 1-1).
Cuyamaca Classic – El Cajon, CA
East Los Angeles (6-5) moved over .500 with a 82-68 victory over Cuyamaca (6-7).
In the second game of the night, Steve Stinson had 23 points and Isaiah Baker added 18 points as San Diego Mesa (4-8) picked up a 97-84 win over Antelope Valley (5-8).
Andrel Gaines Classic – Gilroy, CA
In the first game of the night, Jalen Cunningham had 24 points and Clarence Martin added 11 points as 2nd ranked Cabrillo (13-1) cruised past Shasta 89-67 on Friday evening. Shasta moves to 1-16 with the loss.
In the night cap, Trey Neff scored 20 points and Ty Neff added 14 points as Redwoods (10-7) picked up a 74-59 road win over Gavilan (5-9). Isaiah Hinds had 17 points and Bricen Buciak added 15 points in the loss for the Rams.
Holiday Classic – Santa Maria, CA
In the first game of the day, JaTarious Johnson had 19 points and 7 rebounds and Yaya Sidibe added 14 points and 5 rebounds as Fresno (7-6) moved one game over .500 with a 82-52 victory over Cuesta (4-9). Jayden Ares had 17 points and Jeffrey Bujan added 13 points and 4 rebounds in the loss for the Cougars.
In the finale of the night, Jahki Parrinello had 18 points and 5 rebounds and Taevon Pierre-Louis added 18 points and 6 rebounds as 10th ranked Allan Hancock (10-4) picked up a 62-55 victory over MiraCosta (7-5). JC Campbell had 17 points and 6 rebounds and Kobe Smith added 13 points and 8 rebounds in the loss for the Spartans.
Cougar Holiday Classic – Santa Clarita, CA
In the championship game of the two day event, Nick Hopkins had 18 points and 5 rebounds and Mikah Gardner added 13 points and 6 rebounds as 5th ranked Mt. San Antonio (11-1) continues to roll with a 84-67 victory over Canyons (6-7). Jacob Gonzalez and Deshawn Herold each scored 10 points in the loss for the Cougars.
In the finale on day two at the Cougar Holiday Classic, Devon Jainlett made four three pointers and had 18 points and Omari Ferguson added 18 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists as Los Angeles Trade Tech (8-4) picked up a tournament split and picked up a 94-84 win over Orange Coast (8-6). Sam Hunter scored a game high of 28 points and Mitchell Rawlins added 10 points and 11 rebounds in the loss for the Pirates.

Reese Widerburg had 18 points and Carter Alexander added 13 points as Ventura (7-9) picked up a 80-74 road win over Riverside (3-11). Darius McClain had 28 points and 6 rebounds and Tomi Adesiji added 13 points and 7 rebounds in the loss for the Tigers.
