Brycyn Gossett had 18 points and 8 rebounds and Adam Weingard added 10 points in the loss for the Vaqueros.

Atiba Taylor had 14 points and Nick Bowden added 11 points and 6 rebounds as 9th ranked Saddleback (1-0) overcame a slow start and picked up a 55-46 win over Southwestern (0-2). Jaymarree Norton had 19 points and 12 rebounds and Paris Smith added 10 points and 5 rebounds in the loss for the Jaguars.

In a high scoring shootout in Northern California, four Falcon players scored in double figures as Solano (1-1) picked up a 101-89 victory over Reedley (1-3). Samuel Lenjik made six three pointers and had 23 points and Jonathon Cobbs added 22 points and 9 rebounds for Solano in the victory. Tommy Newton made six three pointers and had 20 points and Josiah James added 18 points in the loss for the Tigers.
