9th ranked Bobcats open season tonight
9th ranked Saddleback will open their 2021-2022 campaign this evening as the Bobcats will host Southwestern (0-1) in a non conference matchup. The Bobcats did not have a game last week as the Orange Empire school was one of the five teams that did not step on the court last week. Meanwhile, Southwestern is coming off a 64-41 loss last week against Los Angeles Harbor.
In other action around the state, Bakersfield (0-0) will open up their season as the Renegades will travel to Santa Barbara (1-0). The Vaqueros are coming off a 93-75 victory over El Camino and will look to pick up their 2nd straight win over Bakersfield at 6pm.
Reedley (1-2) will look to pick up their first win over a junior college today as the Tigers beat the Simpson JV but suffered two setbacks at the Gladiator Classic Tournament last week. The Tigers will travel to Fairfield and meet Solano (0-1) in a non conference battle. Solano is coming off a 124-68 home loss against West Valley as tip off is scheduled for 6pm.
In the fourth game scheduled for tonight, Glendale (2-1) will look to get back on track as the Vaqueros will take on Los Angeles Pierce (0-2) at 6pm. Glendale won their first two games but had a set back against Santiago Canyon in their last game. Los Angeles Pierce fell to West Los Angeles and Cypress in Santa Monica but will look to pick up a win in their home opener.
