Pasadena will next face San Bernardino in the round of 16 on the road with a elite eight bid on the line.

Dominique Daniels Jr. had 29 points and 9 assists and Armon Muldrew added 20 points and 5 rebounds as 4th seeded San Bernardino (26-3) won their 15th straight game and advanced to the regional final with a 77-45 blow out win over 13th seeded Saddleback (19-11). Jimuel Reyes had 15 points and Elijah Al-Debaran added 10 points for the Gauchos in the loss. The Wolverines will next face Pasadena in the round of sixteen next Saturday at home.

Fullerton, CA – (1) Fullerton 106 (16) West Los Angeles 71

Sean Newman Jr had 24 points and 5 assists, Kobe Newton added 21 points and Jeremiah Davis chipped in with 20 points as top seeded Fullerton (28-1) crushed 16th seeded West Los Angeles 106-71 to move into the sweet 16. Joshua Jones Jr. had 20 points and Gavin Davis added 14 points in the loss for West Los Angeles who finish their season with a 19-11 record. The Hornets will next face San Diego at home next Saturday. It will be the second time the two teams met as the Hornets knocked off San Diego 97-84 on December 8th in Fullerton.

San Diego, CA – (8) San Diego 66 (24) Copper Mountain 56

Lorenzo Wright had 18 points and Anjay Cortez added 12 points as 8th seeded San Diego (24-5) picked up a 66-56 win over 24th seeded Copper Mountain (17-13) to advance to the regional final. Jaylon Lee had 18 points and 11 rebounds and Larry Holmes added 12 points in the loss for the Fighting Cacti. The Knights will next face Fullerton in the sweet 16 next Saturday in Orange County.

Glendora, CA – (2) Citrus 81 (18) Cypress 74

Chris Chiles had 16 points and Jamal Briscoe added 12 points and 5 rebounds as 2nd seeded Citrus (26-3) used a big first half and held off 18th seeded Cypress 81-74 to advance to the sweet 16. Blake Ballard had a game high of 26 points and Grant Sii added 17 points for Cypress who finished their season with a 18-12 record. With the win, the Owls will next host Ventura next Saturday and it will be the first time the two teams have met this season.

Ventura, CA – (7) Ventura 74 (10) Santiago Canyon 69

Sophomore guard Adrian McIntyre had 18 points and Tony Nija added 11 points as 7th seeded Ventura (23-6) used a late surge and held 10th seeded Santiago Canyon 74-69 on Saturday evening to advance to the regional final. Aaron Wadman had 21 points and 6 rebounds and was the only Hawks player to post double digits in showdown between two solid Southern California teams. With the win, the Pirates move into the sweet 16 and Ventura will next face 2nd seeded Citrus next Saturday. Santiago Canyon finishes the season with a 19-11 record.

Monterey Park, CA – (3) East Los Angeles 94 (14) Riverside 77

Jon Sanders went a perfect 8/8 from the floor and had 26 points and 5 assists and Noel Scott added 18 points as 3rd seeded East Los Angeles (25-3) won their tenth straight game and moved into the sweet 16 with a 94-77 victory over 14th seeded Riverside (17-13). Lynden Paul had 20 points and Reggie Ward added 18 points and 9 rebounds in the loss for the Tigers. East Los Angeles will next face 6th seeded Los Angeles Harbor next Saturday for a trip to Lemoore. It will be the second time the two teams met as Los Angeles Harbor beat East Los Angeles 76-64 in a match up between the two teams on January 11th.

Wilmington, CA – (6) Los Angeles Harbor 86 (11) Mt. San Jacinto 77

Sophomore Demetrius Douglas came up big as the wing put up 33 points, 10 rebounds and 5 assists and Louis Walker added 14 points and 9 rebounds as 6th seeded Los Angeles Harbor (25-4) advanced to the regional final (sweet 16) with a 86-77 win over 11th seeded Mt. San Jacinto (23-6). With the victory, the Seahawks will now travel to Monterey Park and face 3rd seeded East Los Angeles on Saturday.
