Monterey Bay Classic – Monterey, CA

In the semi finals of the Monterey Bay Classic, Hark Sidhu had 21 points and Jayden Madise added 14 points and 5 rebounds as 15th ranked Monterey (8-1) won their seventh straight game with a win over Cypress (5-4) to advance to the championship game. Ramiah Adedigba had 24 points and Tommie Flanagan added 12 points in the loss for the Chargers.

In the second semi final of the night, Aaron Strings had 21 points and Luc Krystkowiak added 15 points as Irvine Valley (5-3) won their fourth straight game with a 84-59 win over Foothill (2-5) to advance to the championship game tomorrow as the Lasers will face Monterey. Jalen Williams had 14 points and Ethan Jew added 12 points as Foothill will take on Cypress in the 3rd place game.

In the consolation bracket, Aaron Garibay had 21 points and Connor Brown added 20 points as Hartnell (3-6) ended their three game losing streak and picked up a 71-67 win over Feather River (3-5) who lost for the fourth game in a row.

In the second game of the consolation bracket, Santa Barbara (4-6) picked up a 79-75 win over Diablo Valley (3-4). Diego Paredes had 16 points and Aaryn Anderson added 15 points and 8 rebounds in the loss for the Vikings. Santa Barbara will face Hartnell in the consolation championship and Diablo Valley will take on Feather River in the 7th place game in the final day in Monterey.

Saltwalter Classic – Aptos, CA

Bobby Arenas had 23 points and Shakur Blaylock added 14 points as 6th ranked San Mateo (8-1) won their second game in a row with a 75-63 win over Merritt (1-5). Kymani Ladi had 19 points and DJ Leaks added 10 points in the loss for the Thunderbirds.

In other first round action, 3rd ranked Columbia (8-0) won their eighth straight game with a 87-67 win over De Anza (2-6). The Claim Jumpers will face 6th ranked San Mateo in the semi finals and Merritt will take on De Anza in the consolation side of the bracket.

In other action, Isaac Wood scored 24 points and Rolontae Knowles added 18 points as Butte (5-3) advanced to the semi finals with a 88-84 win over Merced (2-6).

In the final game of the night, Pierce Rexford had 17 points and Yaadvir Dhaliwal added 17 points as Folsom Lake (3-3) advanced to the semi finals and will play Butte with a 67-62 on the road against Cabrillo (4-6). Brandon Harmon had 14 points and Joe Rush added 11 points for the Seahawks who will face Merced in the consolation bracket.

Wild West Shootout – Culver City, CA

In day two action in Southern California, six San Bernardino players scored in double figures led by Armon Muldrew who had 18 points as 3rd ranked San Bernardino (7-2) continued to stay hot with a 112-81 victory over 11th ranked Los Angeles Southwest (7-2). Cavin Paige had 24 points and Brandon Fredrick added 22 points and 7 rebounds in the loss for the Cougars.

In the second semi final, Justin Williams had 13 points and Roy Clarke added 11 points as 5th ranked West Los Angeles (7-1) advanced to the championship game with a 87-81 win over Compton (4-3). James Baker-Dunlap had 15 points and Gabriel Ajemian added 14 points and 7 rebounds in the loss for the Tartars. The Wildcats will face San Bernardino for the third time this season in the championship game and Compton will take on Los Angeles Southwest in the 3rd place game.

In the consolation bracket, Lorenzo Marsh had 14 points and 7 rebounds and Kameron Mayhan added 13 points and 6 rebounds as Long Beach (4-5) moved on to the consolation championship game with a 59-57 win over Los Angeles Valley (0-7). Andre Parris had 11 points and was the only Monarch in double figures.

In the second game in the consolation bracket, Carter Alexander continued his hot play as the guard had 28 points and Rocco Ponmpeo added 15 points as Moorpark (6-7) held off Barstow 90-89 to advance to the consolation final and face off against Long Beach. Christian Taylor went off for 40 points and 15 rebounds and Marc Docarmo added 15 points in the loss for Barstow (3-6).

Valencia, CA – (9) Canyons 71 San Diego Mesa 63

Andrew Henderson scored 17 points and added 8 rebounds and Corwin Smith added 12 points as 9th ranked Canyons (7-2) used a late 2nd half spurt to pick up a 71-63 victory over San Diego Mesa (4-3). William Bailey had 19 points and 8 rebounds and Sean Smith added 17 points in the loss for the Olympians.

Grossmont Tournament

In first day action down in El Cajon, Jonathan Ogugua had 22 points and Taleh Wade added 14 points as 4th ranked San Diego (5-2) used a big second half to get past Palo Verde 81-67 to advance to the semi finals. Daijohn Stewart had 23 points and 11 rebounds and Larry Hemingway added 21 points and 9 rebounds in the loss for Palo Verde (5-4).

In other action, Noah Woodby had 28 points and Chris Howard added 13 points and 5 rebounds as Palomar (6-2) cruised past Saddleback 82-65 to advance to the semi finals. Atiba Taylor had 11 points and Chrles Erving added 10 points in the loss for Saddleback (3-3). Palomar will face San Diego in the semi finals and Palo Verde and Saddleback will face eachother in the consolation bracket.

In the third game of the day, Vincent Warren had 24 points and 10 rebounds and Nick Mason added 13 points and 10 rebounds as Grossmont (2-5) advanced to the semi finals with a 62-46 win over Los Angeles Trade Tech (1-7). Dahmaj Warren had 18 points and 7 rebounds in the loss for the Beavers.

In the final game of the night, Ben Baker had 28 points and 9 rebounds and Adam Afifi added 16 points and 7 rebounds as top ranked West Valley escaped the upset bug edging Cuesta 96-90 in double overtime to advance to the semi finals. Darryl Brooks II had 25 points and Moritz Schneider added 21 points and 6 rebounds in the loss for Cuesta 2-4). With the win, West Valley will take on Grossmont and Cuesta will face Los Angeles Trade Tech in the consolation bracket.

Golden Gate Classic – San Francisco, CA

In the first game up North in San Francisco, Ryan Johnson had 24 points and Bryce Fitzgerald added 21 points as 4th ranked Sequoias (5-1) picked up a 113-65 over Ohlone (2-6).

In the second game of the night, 2nd ranked San Francisco (5-1) used a big 2nd half to pick up a 92-76 win over San Joaquin Delta (2-5). Dayton Magana had 25 points and Vince Olmo added 12 points and 10 rebounds in the loss for the Mustangs.

Glendora, CA – (8) Citrus 84 Victor Valley 45

Chris Harper had 14 points and Jayden Johnston and Leonard Turner each added 13 points as 8th ranked Citrus (6-1) cruised past Victor Valley (1-9) at home 84-45. Joshua Ryan had 12 points and 7 rebounds and was the only Ram player in double figures in the loss.

Gregg Anderson Memorial Tournament – Lancaster, CA

In first round action in Lancaster, Anthony McIntyre had 20 points and 5 rebounds and Adrian McIntyre added 14 points as 2nd ranked Ventura (7-0) continued to play great basketball and cruise to a 92-62 victory over Glendale (5-5). Jarred Jones had 12 points and Joel Finney added 11 points in the loss for the Vaqueros.

In game two of the tournament, Carter Plousha had 16 points and 11 rebounds and Julian Williams added 16 points as MiraCosta (3-5) advanced to the semi finals with a 67-58 win over Rio Hondo (1-8). Sebastian Lara had 18 points and Alwyn Saddler IV added 13 points in the loss for the Roadrunners. MiraCosta will face Ventura in the semi finals and on the consolation side, Rio Hondo will take on Los Angeles Pierce.

In the bottom half of the bracket, Daron Hall had 14 points and Josh Miller added 13 points and 7 rebounds as 15th ranked Cerro Coso (6-1) used a big first half to cruise past Los Angeles Pierce 75-57 to advance to the semi finals. Zion White had 19 points and made four three pointers in the loss for Los Angeles Pierce (4-5).

In the final game of the first round, tournament host Antelope Valley picked up a first round forefit over Imperial Valley. The Marauders will face Cerro Coso in the semi finals and Glendale will take on the Antelope Valley JV.

James Clark Tournament – Sacramento, CA

In day two action in Sacramento, Jordahn Johnson had 19 points and 10 rebounds and Lee Jones Jr. added 17 points as 10th ranked Las Positas (8-1) won their eighth straight game with a 81-75 win over Reedley (3-6). Anthony Martinez scored 20 points and Makhi Turner added 16 points in the loss for the Tigers.

In the second game, Jett Snure had 28 points and Braeden Watts added 12 points as Siskiyous (5-6) picked up a 65-52 win over Sacramento (2-7). Jake Paxton had 17 points in the loss for the Panthers.

In the final game of the night, Andre Huddleleston had 24 points and Kaleb Drake added 15 points as Cosumnes River (7-2) won their fourth straight game with a 91-84 win over Fresno (3-5).

Trent Blackshire had 24 points and David Galentine added 18 points as 5th ranked San Jose (8-2) got a 80-73 non conference win over Skyline (6-2). Colby Vasquez had 25 points in the loss for the Trojans.

Pittsburg, CA – (7) Los Medanos 100 Modesto 74

Jason Holman had 26 points and Dera Vixon added 22 points as 7th ranked Los Medanos (8-0) won their eighth straight game with a 100-74 victory over unranked Modesto (1-7). Lydell King had 14 and Jacob Stanton added 13 points in the loss for the Pirates.

18th Annual Bill Treglown Classic – Eureka, CA

In second day action Adam Shoff had 13 points and Samer Khalil added 10 points as Shasta (5-6) edged West Hills-Coalinga 65-62 on Friday afternoon. Jabari Merritt had 23 points and 8 rebounds and was the only West Hills-Coalinga (3-6) player to score in double figures.

In other action, Southwestern Oregon cruised past Lassen 77-44 Darien Guyton had 13 points for Lassen (0-10) in the loss.

LJ Hallums had 30 points and Marcus Neal added 24 points as Mendocino (4-3) won their third straight game with a 75-72 win over Sierra (4-2).

Amari Stroud had 20 points and Kaleb Mack added 13 points as Allan Hancock (5-4) went on the road and picked up a 78-71 victory over West Hills-Lemoore (4-4).

Shaquil Bender had 28 points and freshman point guard Justyn Hunter added 16 points as 14th ranked Mt. San Antonio (6-3) ended their two game losing streak with a 67-60 road win over Chaffey (3-5). Isaiah Barcelo had 20 points for the Panthers in the loss.
