Marin opens BVC with win over Merritt

Daniel Fagan had 17 points and Tre McPherson added 17 points as Marin (5-7, 1-0) opened up Bay Valley Conference play with a 80-70 win on the road against Merritt (4-6, 0-1) on Monday night. DJ Leaks had 18 points and Chokri Bachta added 15 points in the loss for the Thunderbirds.
