In the second game of the day, Alex Harris made six three pointers and scored a game high of 24 points and Caleb Onuonga added 13 points as 10th ranked Gavilan (11-5) cruised past Shasta 87-63 on New Years Eve. Josiah Palumbo had 18 points in the loss for Shasta (4-14).

Elijah Mahi had 20 points and Jeremiah Dargan added 12 points as 3rd ranked West Valley (14-2) used a late second half surge and slipped past Skyline 53-46 on the road on Saturday afternoon. Deandre Minor had 16 points and Dominic Wilson added 12 points in the loss for Skyline (7-7).
