Malik Edwards had 21 points and Ben Tellez added 15 points as 15th ranked Diablo Valley (10-5, 3-0) won their fifth straight game and remained unbeaten in Big 8 Conference action with a 63-61 come from behind victory over Modesto (4-12, 1-3) at home. Ethan Parker had 15 points and Joshua Allen added 11 points for the Pirates in the loss.

Sacramento, CA – American River 79 Sacramento 72

Jaden Burgess had 21 points and Justice Seabron added 15 points as American River (4-11, 3-1) remained a half game from first place picking up a 79-72 home win against Sacramento (7-8, 0-3). O’Ryan Wallace had 15 points for the Panthers in the loss who have now lost four straight games.

Santa Rosa, CA – Santa Rosa 68 Cosumnes River 57

Teo Tomerlin had 15 points and Justin Smith added 11 points as Santa Rosa (6-10, 3-1) picked up a 68-57 home win over Cosumnes River (8-8, 2-2) on Tuesday night. Brandon Scott scored a game high of 27 points and Kaleb Drake added 10 points in the loss for the Hawks.

Jonathon Cobbs scored a game high of 38 points and Matthew Elliot added 17 points and 5 assists in the loss for the Falcons.

Sierra (8-8, 2-2) moved to .500 with a 76-74 overtime win over San Joaquin Delta (6-9, 2-1) on Tuesday evening. Kendrick Curry had 29 points and Arvind Sandhu added 13 points in the loss for the Mustangs.
