1. East Los Angeles (19-3): The Huskies are looming around a top four seed as the playoffs are nearing. East Los Angeles has put together 19 wins this season and are at the top of the South Coast North Conference with four games to go. The Huskies have put together a solid resume in which East Los Angeles picked up non conference wins against San Bernardino, Ventura, Cerritos, Riverside, West Valley, (Long Beach, Porterville, Santa Monica x2) and have done their job in conference picking up a win against Pasadena. East Los Angeles has four games left against Mt. San Antonio, Rio Hondo, Los Angeles Trade Tech and Pasadena. All four of those games matter but the one that will benefit the Huskies the most is the one against Pasadena that could help them in the seeding process as the regular season winds down.

2. Pasadena (17-7): The Lancers have made one of the biggest turn arounds from last season as Pasadena has put together 17 wins. Pasadena sits in 2nd place and has been playing some great basketball since the turn of the new year. Since December 16th, the Lancers are 11-1 with their lone loss coming against conference foe East Los Angeles. The Lancers struggled early in non conference but played a very intriguing schedule which saw Pasadena pick up losses against Riverside, Ventura x2, Citrus and Cerritos. Pasadena has non conference wins against Saddleback, Mt. San Jacinto, Los Angeles Southwest, Long Beach and Los Angeles Harbor which is why we could see Pasadena pick up a seed around the 10 range. The Lancers have four games left as Pasadena will face Los Angeles Trade Tech, Mt. San Antonio, Rio Hondo and they finish the season at home against East Los Angeles. If they can knock off ELAC and share the conference championship we could see the Lancers in a position to pick up a single digit seed moving into the post season.
