Tristan Hill Holiday Tournament – Stockton, CA

In the first semi final of the Tristan Hill Holiday Tournament, Jeremiah Dargan had 33 points and Elijah Mahi added 21 points as top ranked West Valley (12-0) remained unbeaten with a 81-66 win over San Joaquin Delta (3-8). Dayton Magana had 22 points and Dom Perasso added 13 points in the loss for the Mustangs.

In the second semi final, Willie Williams had 22 points and King Jhsanni-Wilhite and Mason Harris each added 13 points as 3rd ranked San Francisco (10-2) advanced to the championship game with a 81-67 victory over Contra Costa (2-8). Zayn Kimbrough had 15 points and Mikey Pierce added 12 points for the Comets in the loss. San Francisco will next face West Valley in the championship game and Contra Costa will take on San Joaquin Delta in the 3rd place game.

In the consolation bracket, Eli Hicks had 19 points and Will Comerford added 16 points as Merritt (3-8) picked up a 71-47 win over Shasta (1-14) and advanced to the consolation championship. Aramane Collins had 11 points in the loss for the Knights.

In the second consolation game, Rashad Samuels had 20 points and Marvelous Owens added 18 points as Butte (6-9) advanced to the consolation championship with a 68-57 win over Sierra (2-9). Nicholas Schultz had 13 points in the loss for the Wolverines. Butte will now face Merritt in the consolation championship and Sierra will take on Shasta.

Kris Kringle Tournament – Santa Rosa, CA

In day two of the Kris Kringle Tournament, Devin Malcolm had 27 points and Majer Sullivan added 13 points as 8th ranked Yuba (9-2) advanced to the championship game with a 87-85 win over Redwoods (9-6). Cody Whitmore had 22 points and Jett Cheong added 19 points in the loss for the Corsairs.

In the second semi final, Myles Watkins had 17 points and Shant Chenorharovian added 14 points as Pasadena (6-4) upended tournament host and 14th ranked Santa Rosa 65-61 to advance to the championship game. Chris Holley had 24 points and was the only Santa Rosa (7-4) player to score in double figures. Pasadena will next face Yuba in the championship game and tournament host Santa Rosa will face Redwoods in the 3rd place game tomorrow.

In the consolation bracket, Jaylin Leslie had a game high of 29 points and Alijah Washington added 20 points as Foothill (7-6) cruised past Copper Mountain 95-55 on Friday afternoon. Luke George had 20 points and Isaac Lopez added 15 points for Copper Mountain (4-7) in the loss.

In the second consolation game, Jonah Crumpton-Murray had 23 points and TJ Steed added 19 points as Feather River (5-10) advanced to the consolation championship game with a 75-71 win over Mendocino (3-8). Ahmad Artis had 20 points and Jordan Emory added 19 points in the loss for the Eagles. Feather River will take on Foothill tomorrow in the consolation championship and Mendocino will take on Copper Mountain in the 7th place game.

Coach Carr Classic – San Jose, CA

In the first game of the day, Owen Patterson had 17 points and Akeives Shorts added 13 points as Porterville (6-7) upset 12th ranked Monterey 51-44 in a low scoring affair. Malik Ross had a game high of 25 points and Kenneth Brown added 10 points and 4 rebounds in the loss for Monterey (11-2).

In other action in San Jose, Mylo Santos had 15 points and Noah Haaland added 14 points as 10th ranked Allan Hancock (8-4) picked up a 80-75 win over Siskiyous (5-10). Dylan Neufeld had 17 points and Landon Ellis added 15 points in the loss for the Eagles.

In the final game of the day, Isaiah Saams-Hoy had 21 points and Malcolm Steadman added 18 points as 6th ranked San Jose (11-2) knocked off Ohlone 75-59. Jason Cibull had 14 points and Nebiyu Teklemariam added 11 points in the loss for Ohlone (8-6).

Midstate Bank Tournament – San Luis Obispo, CA

Santa Barbara (5-9) picked up a day one win over Hartnell (4-8). Ethan Hunt had 14 points and Jacob Taylor added 12 points in the loss for the Panthers.

In the final game of the night, Drew Ardouin made five three pointers and had 29 points, 13 rebounds and 6 assists and Ethan Walker added 16 points and 9 rebounds as Cuesta (3-8) picked up a 91-63 win over Barstow (1-7). Jalen Blanchard had 21 points and Tajon Perkins-Bell added 15 points in the loss.

Al Green had 19 points and 6 rebounds and Alex Crawford added 15 points and 9 rebounds and four other Knights scored in double figures as 4th ranked San Diego (11-3, 2-0) picked up their second straight win in conference with a 95-57 home win over Cuyamaca (5-5, 1-1). Xaiver Rubio had 18 points and PJ Brinkman added 11 points in the loss for the Coyotes.

Oceanside, CA – MiraCosta 93 Imperial Valley 73

Kobe Smith had 18 points and Don Freeman added 15 points as MiraCosta (5-4, 1-0) won their conference opener with a 93-73 win over Imperial Valley (1-12, 0-2).

El Cajon, CA- Southwestern 60 Grossmont 53

Quinten Vella had 14 points as Southwestern (7-6, 2-0) won their second straight conference game with a 60-53 win over Grossmont (2-9, 0-2). Adam LeFlore had 19 points and Brandon Tully added 12 points for the Griffin in the loss.
