Fullerton stays on top of the rankings following a big week as the Hornets picked up two quality wins against San Francisco and Sequoias. Riverside jumps to the 2nd spot in the rankings and Miramar and Cerritos also made moves into the top 5. Ventura and Long Beach dropped out the rankings and Copper Mountain and Los Angeles Harbor jump into the rankings for week 3 in Southern California.

Signal The Light Basketball week 3 Southern California Rankings (Nov 21-27)

1. Fullerton (6-0): The Hornets remain at the top spot in Southern California following three wins last week. Fullerton had a huge week, as the Hornets beat Cerro Coso on the road and followed that up beating San Francisco 105-102 in overtime and then knocked off a very good Sequoias team 67-61 the next day. Fullerton has won six straight now and will face unranked Santa Monica on Wednesday for their lone game of the week.

2. Riverside (6-0): The Tigers continue to move up the rankings each way and catapult two spots and come in at number two. Riverside has started the season winning six straight games and knocked off Long Beach and Citrus last week. The Tigers have played great basketball and will have another test this week as Riverside will face 9th ranked San Bernardino on the road Tuesday in their lone game of the week.

3. San Diego Miramar (5-0): The Jets move two spots up in the rankings and are in the top 3 for the first time this season. Miramar won their fifth straight game after beating Irvine Valley 70-56 at home last week. The Jets are off to a great start and will be in action three times this weekk as Miramar will take part at the Palomar Thanksgiving Crossover. Miramar will face Orange Coast, Oxnard and 15th ranked Los Angeles Harbor for their three games this week.

4. Cerritos (4-0): The Falcons enter the top five for the first time this season and move up two spots from last week. Cerritos picked up a win against Citrus and won their fourth straight on the season as the Falcons have started off hot. Cerritos has victories over Ventura, Santa Monica, Irvine Valley and Citrus and will face Allan Hancock at home on Wednesday for their lone game of the week.

5. Citrus (3-2): The Owls fall three spots in our new rankings following a rough week seeing Citrus lose twice. Citrus lost on the road against Cerritos and followed that up with a loss against Riverside as the Owls have lost both their games to teams within our top 4. Citrus will look to get back on track this week as the Owls will face Los Angeles Pierce at home on Wednesday for their lone game of the week.

6. East Los Angeles (3-1): The Huskies move up two spots in the rankings after picking up a win last week. East Los Angeles cruised past Santa Monica 84-60 in their lone game last week as the Huskies have started the season winning three of their first four games. This week the Huskies will have the week off and then face Phoenix Prep on November 29th at home in their next outing.

7. San Diego (4-1): The Knights take a drop four spots in the rankings following a 2-1 week. San Diego picked up wins against San Jose and Santa Barbara but had a setback against unranked Allan Hancock in their three games last week. San Diego has played solid basketball to start the season and will be off this week and return to action on December 2nd when the Knights face Los Angeles Trade Tech at the Grossmont Invitational.

8. Saddleback (5-2): The Bobcats move up two spots in the rankings after picking up a win last week. Saddleback cruised past Victor Valley 69-53 for their second straight win and the Bobcats have won three of their last four games. Saddleback has victories over Ventura, Trade Tech, Moorpark, San Bernardino and Victor Valley. The Bobcats will face Los Angeles Trade Tech tonight at home in their lone game of the week.

9. San Bernardino (1-2): The Wolverines had the week off and move up two spots due to teams losing in front of them. San Bernardino will look to get back on track after suffering losses in their last two games as the Wolverines will host 2nd ranked Riverside on Tuesday for their lone game of the week in a battle between two teams ranked within our top 10 in Southern California.

10. Palomar (4-1): The Comets jump three spots in our rankings and into our top 10 for the first time this season. Palomar has won three straight games and picked up a 92-40 win over Victor Valley last week. The Comest will be in action three times this week as Palomar will host their Thanksgiving Crossover Tournament later this week. The Comets will take on Oxnard on Friday, 15th ranked Los Angeles Harbor on Saturday and end their week against Orange Coast on Sunday to end their week.

11. Los Angeles (5-3): The Wildcats drop four spots in the rankings following an 0-2 weekend. West Los Angeles came to Central California and lost to West Hills Lemoore and Porterville after winning the San Bernardino Tournament. West Los Angeles will have the week off and return to action on December 1st when the Wildcats will face Rio Hondo at the Wild West Shootout.

12. Copper Mountain (5-2): The Fightin Cacti enter the rankings and jump to number twelve following another solid week. Copper Mountain has now won five straight games since losing their first two and knocked off Palo Verde, Imperial Valley, and Santiago Canyon last week. The Fightin Cacti have been solid since there early slip ups and will be back in action on November 30th when they face 4th ranked Cerritos on the road.

13. Santiago Canyon (4-2): The Hawks drop four spots in the rankings after losing their lone game last week. Santaigo Canyon had their four game winning streak broken as they lost on the road against Copper Mountain. The Hawks have started the season winning four of six and will be on the road this week against Mt. San Antonio on Wednesday for their lone game of the week.

14. Moorpark (5-2): The Raiders move up one spot in the rankings following two wins last week. Moorpark picked up wins against Bakersfield and Cerro Coso and have won four games in a row since losing to Saddleback. This week Moorpark will be in action one time as the Raiders will face 9th ranked Porterville on Wednesday for their lone game of the week.

15. Los Angeles Harbor (4-0): The Seahawks enter the rankings for the first time this season after picking up two wins last week. Los Angeles Harbor has started off the season winning four straight games and knocked off Ventura and San Diego Mesa last week. The Seahawks have picked up wins against West Hills Lemoore, Southwestern, Ventura and San Diego Mesa to start off the season. This week the Seahawks will be in action four times as they will take part in the Palomar Thanksgiving Crossover. Los Angeles Harbor will face Golden West at home on Wednesday and follow that up with games against Imperial Valley, 10th ranked Palomar and 3rd ranked San Diego Miramar.
