In a battle between ranked teams within our Southern California rankings, Jonathan Salazar had 22 points and 10 rebounds and Everett May added 16 points as 2nd ranked Cerritos (7-0) won their seventh straight game and remained unbeaten with a 90-70 victory over 11th ranked Copper Mountain (5-3). Antonio Reviere had 21 points and Jack Garrison added 14 points in the loss for the Fighting Cacti.

Sophomore guard Damascus Sanders made five three pointers and had 28 points and Jason Danso added 16 points, 10 rebounds and 7 assists as Southwestern (5-4) went on the road and used a big second half to cruise past Mt. San Antonio 78-59. Nick Hopkins had 21 points and 7 rebounds and Jay Milner added 16 points and 5 rebounds in the loss for Mt. San Antonio (4-4).
