In the game of the day, KJ Bradley had 21 points, 5 rebounds and 5 assists and Keavie Love added 16 points as 2nd ranked San Diego (9-2) used a big first half and picked up a 86-77 victory over 4th ranked Fullerton (7-3). Jeremiah Davis had 22 points and 6 rebounds and Amound Anderson added 14 points in the loss for the Hornets.

CJ Hardy went off and had 30 points and 6 assists and Marland Harris added 25 points and 11 rebounds as 6th ranked West Los Angeles (8-2) picked up a 97-84 win over 12th ranked Los Angeles Southwest (6-4) in day two action in Fullerton. Omar Gardner had 19 points and 8 rebounds and Joel Baez added 17 points in the loss.

Hayward, CA – (1) West Valley 77 (3) Chabot 66

Shak Odenewu had 22 points and Elijah Mahi added 19 points as top ranked West Valley (10-0) went on the road and won their tenth straight game with a 77-66 victory over 3rd ranked Chabot (9-3). Noah Thomas and Zach Broadous each had 14 points in the loss for the Gladiators.

Modesto Tournament – Modesto, CA

In the semi finals in Modesto, Yaya Sidibe had 16 points and Brian Carter added 15 points as Fresno (6-4) handed 6th ranked Sacramento (9-1) their first loss of the season with a 73-67 win and advanced to the championship game tomorrow. Money Lott had 17 points, 16 rebounds and 6 blocks, and Sid Duplessis added 20 points in the loss for the Panthers.

In the second semi final of the night, Tyreon Payne scored a game high of 23 points and Yasir Rowell added 20 points as 11th ranked Merced (10-1) won their eighth straight game and advanced to the title game with a 73-66 victory over Modesto (3-8). Ethan Parker had 21 points in the loss for the Pirates in the loss. Merced will next face Fresno in the championship game, and Sacramento will take on Modesto for 3rd place in a battle of two Big 8 Conference foes.

In the consolation bracket, Alex Perez had 18 points and 5 rebounds and Alijah Washington added 16 points and 10 rebounds as Foothill (5-5) advanced to the consolation championship with a 70-53 win over West Hills Coalinga (5-5).

In the second consolation game, Erin Chamble had 20 points and Evan Manville made six three pointers and added 18 points as Lassen (5-12) advanced to the consolation title game with a 67-61 win over Shasta (1-11). Lassen will face Foothill and Shasta will take on West Hills Coalinga in final day action in Modesto tomorrow.

Walnut, CA – (7) Mt. San Antonio 78 (15) Irvine Valley 68

Nick Hopkins had 26 points and 8 rebounds and CJ Fisher added 12 points and 5 rebounds as 7th ranked Mt. San Antonio (8-1) picked up a 78-68 win over Irvine Valley (6-3) in a battle of ranked teams on Friday evening. Jesse Stines had 15 points and 5 rebounds and David Ogunlade added 15 points in the loss for Lasers.

Cypress, CA – Cypress 67 Cuyamaca 64

Gabe Navarro had 17 points and 6 rebounds and Allen Wright added 15 points as Cypress (4-6) picked up a 67-64 home win over Cuyamaca (4-4). PJ Brinkman had 21 points and 7 rebounds and Sergio Franso added 11 points and 6 rebounds in the loss for the Coyotes.

Santa Barbara Tournament – Santa Barbara, CA

In the championship bracket, Christian Green had 23 points and 5 rebounds and kenneth Brown added 15 points and 12 rebounds as 13th ranked Monterey (9-1) advanced to the championship game with a 68-60 win over tournament host Santa Barbara (3-9). Isaiah Hicks had 15 points and 4 rebounds and Truman Teuber added 15 points in the loss for the Vaqueros.

In the second semi final, Tyler Silva had 20 points and Terrin Dickey and Trevon Perry each added 15 points as Bakersfield (6-3) won their fifth straight game and advanced to the championship game with a 90-64 win over Oxnard (1-7). Daniel Ortiz had 18 points and Theo Briscoe added 17 points in the loss for the Condors. Bakersfield will face Monterey tomorrow in the championship game, and Oxnard will face Santa Barbara in the 3rd place game.

In the consolation bracket, Franklyn Chambers had 26 points and Brandon Cerda added 20 points and 4 assists as Long Beach (5-5) moved to .500 and advanced to the consolation championship with a 80-65 win over Feather River (3-9). TJ Sneed had 19 points and 15 rebounds and Mikey Johnson added 10 points and 6 rebounds in the loss for the Golden Eagles.

Reedley Tournament – Reedley, CA

In the first game of the day, San Mateo (6-6) picked up a 79-70 over 3rd ranked Cerro Coso (8-2). It was the second straight loss for the Coyotes after starting the season off with eight straight wins.

In the second game of the day, Cosumnes River (6-4) slipped past tournament host Reedley 75-74. Kyriaun Davis had 15 points and Matt Ruegge added 14 points for Reedley (4-6) in the loss.
