15th ranked College of the Redwoods (1-0) overcame a 6 point halftime deficit and scored 58 2nd half points as the Corsairs picked up a 86-73 victory over 10th ranked Mendocino (0-1). Donald Willis scored 25 points and Jon Nchekwube added 19 points in the win for the Corsairs. Marcus Neal had 23 points in the loss for the 10th ranked Eagles.
El Cajon, CA – (12) Irvine Valley 68 Cuyamaca 48
12th ranked Irvine Valley (1-0) picked up their first win of the season as the Lasers went on the road and cruised to a 68-48 victory over Cuyamaca (0-1). Charlie Henderson had 12 points and Luc Krystowiak added 11 points for Irvine Valley in the win. Ray King had 24 points for the Coyotes in the loss.

13th ranked Allan Hancock (0-1) went on the road to the Central Valley and suffered their first loss of the season as Porterville (1-0) picked up a 78-76 win on Tuesday night. The Pirates led throughout the night and held off a late Hancock rally to win their first game of the season.
