Cosumnes travels to Gilroy to face Gavilan

Cosumnes River will travel to Gilroy and face Gavilan College at 6pm in both teams season openers. The Sacramento based squad will look to pick up their first victory of the season but must do it on the road against a much improved Gavilan team coming into the season.

In other action, Grossmont will open up their 2021-2022 season on the road as they will face Compton (1-0) at 6pm. The Tartars will be playing in their second game of the season after posting a 79-64 win on Monday night over Victor Valley on Monday night. Compton will be playing their second home game of the season and will look to move to 2-0 with a win later on tonight.
